“Delightful and restful”

Traditional laidback Irish welcome. Breaksfast 8.30 to 11 a.a. generous and wideranging. No lunch served, but excellent dinner with much variety from locally souirced ingredients. Dress casual....children under 12 served separately and earlier !

“Wonderful hotel in a stunning location”

We felt as though we had discovered a hidden treasure when we arrived at the Renvyle house hotel. Peat fires were burning in the lobby and guests were settled back in comfy armchairs reading the papers. Our room was very clean and well appointed with a fantastic view out to sea. The bathroom looked as though it was tiled with gorgeous Connemara marble. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the fact the hotel has a small pub and excellent restaurant means that it is a great place to hide away for a long weekend.

“Rural Retreat”

A fantastic setting but quite a drive to the hotel along some windy roads. There were lots of activities that did not cost a penny such as golf (nice 9 hole course of par 3 and 4 holes and no need to worry about having shoes or trousers!), snooker, boating on the hotel lake and tennis. Stayed on a B&B booking, breakfast was excellent with all tastes catered for, dinner is quite pricey 50 euros per person for 5 courses, the bar menu was better priced but limited choice with meals at around 15 euro, no room service menu which was a little disappointing.
