“Satisfied customer”
Rearly happend! I heard a lot about making a reservation in Europe at American chains hotel. Very clean, very comfy, very good breakfast. Located 3 min. walking from train station. Surrounded by good restaurants, museums... (What more can you expect from Genoa) Best thing for the money! Highly recommended by all 8 people traveled with me.
“A Real Find”
We consider that Standard Hotel Genova was a really good find. Exactly three minutes from the station. the staff - at all levels - were super: prompt in catering for our needs; very pleasant and professional. the attention to bedroom cleanliness was excellent. the bathroom was modern and convenient. the breakfast was great. Two quibbles: 1) apart from fairly expensive hotels nearby we had to go quite a distance to find a good restaurant. the hotel's own one was adequate. 2) the official name of the hotel- Standard Hotel -should be prominently displayed All in we felt we got a really good deal - a four star hotel for three star prices - and we'd go back
“Pleasant Hotel”
Pleasant hotel next to a rail-way station, very close to the shopping center.

Great hotel. Great location. Nothing fancy, but the room was nice and big, and the location couldn't have been better. Note that parking is 25 euros.
“Loving Genoa”
While the hotel is OK, its location right near the train station and in the beautiful medieval labyrinth of Genoa was beautiful and always surprising. Its not the most salubrious of areas, but full of delights. I loved Genoa.
“Very good hotel.”
the hotel is located about 50 m from the main train station in Genova, Italy. You walk straight out of the Principe Station past the Christopher Columus statue down the road and it's on your right. Booking with Expedia got me a great room on the 6th floor.
“Excellent location & comfortable”
Big hotel, friendly staff. Rooms big and comfortable. TVs tiny and only one lift working (couldn't find the alternative stairs#. Good breakfast and really good location #4 mins walk from main Genova PP railway station).

Very good hotel, near principal train station( Principe)
“Idea location - Best bang for the buck? not sure”
This hotel was IDEALLY located right next to the train station (without train noise) and within walking of aquarium and other sites downtown. It was overpriced for the accommodations, but with 2 kids, we were limited on where to book. It seemed a bit dingy, but was fine for one evening to sleep. Easy access to eating, sites, train. GREAT breakfast included the next morning!
“I Wish it was cooler”
The hotel is in a nice location, within 50 meters of a train station and from there you can go almost anywhere in Italy or near surrounding area. Most of the historical areas of the city can be reached by walking from hotel. Not many restaurants near the hotel. The air conditionning was not working during our stay there.
