"The location of hotel was perfect close to everything Salzburg has to offer. It is very spacious and clean. The room had a free mini bar which I was not aware of as I don’t tend to open the mini bar usually. This is a good perk. A couple of chocolates were left by each side of our bed which was a nice touch. Breakfast was first class with omelettes and eggs made to order. Our stay was actually for 6 nights and on Day 2 we had a dreadful smell of drains in the room. This increased on Day 3 resulting in a sleepless night and a request for change of room. The staff eventually provided an upgraded room and a 25% discount on one night’s stay. We would though be more than happy to go back to this high class hotel."

"This property was absolute perfection and it starts with the people there. Everyone was so friendly from the front desk to the bellmen to the staff at restaurants and breakfast. Not to mention the the location is amazing, right in the heart of everything but where you can easily get dropped off by car at the door and grab a bus right outside or walk directly into the heart of old town. The room was great as well, very haitoric, large, and with comfortable bedding. Of my month in Europe this might be my favorite hotel."

"The stay at Sacher was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive in all service areas.. The building is in a fantastic location overlooking the old town and on the river Check in was delayed so we were offered a drink on the house while we waited in the beautiful bar. The hotel food is second to none . Breakfast although buffet style was full of choice to suit all needs. Eggs came to the table direct from the kitchen. Lovely and warm . Fine dining in the restaurant was a great experience We had the tasting menu and it was fabulous. The restaurant staff gave lots of info about the source of food and it's relevance to the city . As it was my birthday the staff supplied additional hand made chocolate and cake. Nothing was too much trouble . The room was so comfortable. Free mini bar in the room . Lovely toiletries and quality towels robes and bedding . The beds were turned down at night . We had a wonderful restful sleep and a result. Thanks to all at the Sacher hotel Salzburg.. ."
