Not good
I've been visiting Goa for the past 22 years and have stayed at this hotel many times. It must be the only part of Goa that is going backwards. If you are a Western traveller I would avoid. Its now unsafe, unclean and the overall condition is battered and worn out. It is such a shame as it is in a great position. The hotel seems to be marketing itself for large groups of indian college students who tend to spit in the pool, jump in fully clothed and cause mayhem on the whole

Good Budget Hotel
It is near to candolim beach walkable distance. Value for money. 2KM from Calangute beach, and Fort Agauda. market is just outside the hotel, and you can find plenty of the pubs etc if you want to enjoy late night party. Food need to improve. It is kind of apartment with a pool, rooms where I stayed was a 1BHK flat. Staff was very cooperative.

Slow service but decent rooms and lack of coordination in hotel staff. Close proximity to candolim beach. Ok for the budget if u get a good deal. Dont book drectly from hotel.

Good location & a pretty nice hotel
I did have my doubts about Alor Grande when i made the reservation. Thankfully I was not disheartened about anything during my stay. The location of the hotel is simply very good. Its very close to the beautiful candolim beach. Coming to the room we got a pool facing room which was pretty clean and tidy but it definitely needs some upgradation both in terms of furniture and fittings. Rooms are spacious with a kitchen. Food in the hotel is tasty and is cheaper than the hotels in the vicinity. Service was always quick and responsive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay along the beaches of North Goa.
