Like - Proxmity to the beach / beach access Dislike - Food was horrible, Hot Water in shower ran ONLY boiling hot; drinks were HORRIBLE (Was served a dirty martini and argued why it was not DRY, when I ordered a Dry Martini). Internet was CHOPPY at best.

It is an excellent property which i did not expect. really liked it. very close to candolim and calamari. also has a very well made path to the beach. Much better than lemon tree, radisson etc on candolim road!

It’s not a 5 star hotel and I can only give them 3 star. Upon check in date, not enough staff at all, WiFi code need to wait over 15 minutes, beach towel wait for 25 minutes, swimming pool water not very clear, hotel is a bit old and need to remodel to keep it as a 5 star. Lucky that book it in promotion rate otherwise not worth at all. Air conditioner is noisy. The room floor is so dirty as I need to wear slipper all the times otherwise my feet will get dirt. Pool area didn’t maintain good for the table and sunbath cushion. I really can’t believe that how it rate for 5 star hotel?

Weird Hotel Policies
Hotel staff and service was ok. You have to ask them multiple times to get things done. They don't allow parking for rental cars, which is major issue if you want to explore Goa.

Never again.
Unable to sleep too much light in the room from the outside. Wonderful housekeeping staff. Also very honest....housekeeping staff. One Male Front Desk staff gave the impression that it was below his dignity to serve Indians. Path to the beach strewn with furniture haphazardly. Broken fencing at the beach gate. Total overall decline since my first visit. Very disappointed.

Overpriced nice hotel with bad wi-fi setup
Hotel was very nice and well located but almost no rooms had ocean views, and found a place a couple blocks away that was cheaper and had a direct ocean view and balcony from my room (and better internet that was included in the cost). Extremely irritating wi-fi setup at this hotel. 1) they charge you per day as a separate cost, which makes no sense for a hotel purporting to be upscale. they even tried to give me just one day at a time, like I'd want to come back to the front desk every day for new internet 2) the wi-fi code is on these cards you have to scratch off like you're in some podunk casino but then you have to re-enter the codes every time you log back into your device. So if you want to get what's app notifications on your phone, too bad, because you would have to log the code in to see if you had an update.

i m very sorry to say but this hotel is worst hotel of my life..no hospitality ..only retaurant people were nice..specually the reception staff were worst...they dont know about hospitality and how to behave with guests..for every thing we have to wait for atleast 30 min ...even asking fir a bottle of water takes 30-45 min.....i wil never come here again and also advice to other not to stay here

Worst hotel experience ever!
I have stayed at many hotels in many places around the world, in 5 star down to no star, this was by far the worst hotel stay I have had for the price charged. 1. They don't allow anyone to come and meet hotel guests at their hotel room. They rudely yelled at me for my brother dropping me and family off at the hotel room, threatening to add an extra charge for an additional person not on the booking. He was in my room for all of 10 minutes in the evening at 4pm. 2. The bottled water given by room service was filtered water in the bottled water bottle. The employee told us so, after we asked why the bottled water cap was not sealed. 3. They refused to give more than 2 bath towels for the room. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, and they would not give 2 additional towels for the room, we had to keep exchanging wet / used towels for new ones! 4. There's nothing to prevent your little kid from going to the balcony and falling off from the 2nd floor. The hotel is not at all kid friendly. 5. Many of the waiters in the breakfast restaurant have a bad attitude to the guests, asked for water and the guy just walked off to chat with another waiter and never came back. 6. There's a casino at the entrance of the hotel that isn't mentioned anywhere on the hotel site. Not suitable for families.

O Resort&Spa
The hotel was beautiful. Very nice location. The beach access was wonderful and the beach shacks had great food. They should better their rooms....there's very little natural light, no fans in the room and no exhaust in the washrooms. These are v imp things in a hotel room as per me.

Great hotel, but slightly disappointed...
This was a weekend getaway for me and my husband, and we really wanted to unwind in a nice hotel. I can't really say anything bad about the hotel, only that the room certainly wasn't worth Rs. 5000 per night. The staff was polite and they upgraded our room to a deluxe room for free and I am really grateful for that. However, having said that, being such an expensive hotel (these are off season rates, when Goa is literally deserted), one expects some simple luxuries. We didn't carry our own toiletries, believing that the hotel would provide decent ones. Sadly, what they provided was not even decent, so had to buy from a nearby store. No bathrobes and no slippers - other things that disappointed us. These are things that we have always received in high end hotels and I dont think it was unreasonable to expect this from such an expensive resort. While all other hotels in Goa offer free wifi, sadly, O does not. They charge Rs. 300 per day for wifi... Other than that, our stay was comfortable. Breakfast was elaborate and very tasty. Service was fast and efficient. The hotel itself was very beautiful and well located with easy access to the beach. The swimming pool and the pool bar were disappointing though.

Excellent Property within Candolim!!!!!
What you see on the internet is what you get in reality, absolutely fantastic property blended with luxurious comforts of truly starred standards. It was our monsoon break June 2014 and we knew that were to head off to GOA for sure, initially we had Vivanta By Taj (Fort Aguada) on our mind but due to last moment rush we couldn't get the property which in way I am glad we could not as we discovered " The O Resorts & Spa ". Both me, my wife and our daughter loved out break at the resort, be it from the exceptional courteousness of the staff to the up-keeping of the property especially in monsoon, everything was just splendid. Complimentary Breakfast on go was very nice as it variety everyday, food from the restaurant (room service) was also very nice. The USP for the resort is its location which is in the heart of Candolim and have their private access to the beach, swimming pool is decent enough for a quick swim or to splash around with the kids. I am delighted to say that it was an excellent stay and would love to go back to the resorts sometime soon.

Positives : 1) Public Beach access direct from the hotel 2) Excellent Breakfast 3) Great location,good neighbourhood 4) Good restaurants at walking distance 5) 2 blocks away from Vijay mallya's residence "kingfisher villa". Negatives : 1) Small parking space 2) Small pool 3) Suite room needs improvement, flooring needs refurbishment, curtains need change as hard to operate 4) Glass is two way hence cant keep open the curtains as direct view to room internals (specific to suite room as full glass wall opens to swimming pool directly) 5) No beach view or any type of view from any rooms except suite rooms

A resort of sorts, worthy of staying!
A beautiful hotel / resort that made my stay completely worth it.Be it the location, the services, the cleanliness, the staff, the food,etc. The entire team seems to work for just one ultimate goal..customer delight. The only not-so-good part was the timing of the swimming pool, which apparently closes by 7 pm, a rule that one wouldn't like specially in off-season when the beaches are not the place one can be, and the heat doesn't allow you much to do but relax n chill. Another part that I did not appreciate was that a guest is not allowed to take outside food / drinks to the hotel premise. This seemed to be quite an autocratic rule that I would never expect or prefer to abide by.

Pay for 5 star get 3/4 star.
We went as a couple expecting a 5 star experience at 4 star prices. However, the experience turned out a little different. I would say it was a 3 star experience at 5 star prices. The only thing that was cheap was the room itself (below 5k per night for deluxe). However, the in room dining rates were exorbitant. I just cannot fathom the pricing policy of the restaurant. e.g. In room menu quotes plain rice at 295 Rs. Now add 7% tax and 15% service charge. This kind of pricing for basic items was a huge turn off and we opted to eat outside the hotel. The breakfast was pretty ok but not fantastic. Rooms were pretty decent but were not what I expected from a 4 star. Basic toileteries like Shaving Kit, Bathroom slippers, Comb etc. need not be ordered from the reception. They should be present already. Bathroom was good however the toilet did not have the shower which can be quite uncomfortable for many a guest. While catering to international clientele, the hotel has conveniently forgotten that Indians do make up the most of their guests and their bathroom etiqutte should be taken into consideration. Lastly, the TV does not have a DTH connection and plays some 20-25 channels only. This was just unacceptable for me. Overall, I was not entirely satisfied with the experience and may not return to the O resort again.

overall it was a pleasant stay.
Over all stay enjoyed the stay at the O resort and spa. Since the hotel has a private beach it's peaceful & cleaner compared to other beaches. The shack on the beach serves good food, I especially loved the fish cooked in Goan spices. I found the swimming pool small but if you swim in the ocean then you might not want to worry about the pool. The best part is near the bar they have a mini library with books. But carry your own book if you want to read add the boils over there are in Russian & other languages.

High price compare the condition of the room
Not enough return for value of price, rooms are very ordinary, maintance of the room are basic. We expected to recieve higher level for the rate we paid. Small pool. The service was fast. We paid for wifi yet alot of time we couldn't connect. The staff were polite.

The hotel itself is nice, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and the resort is safe. There are a few downsides, the pool is small and the area around it needs re vamping. The Spa isnt very modern and is expensive. The guy there is amazing if you can get but the woment dont know what they are doing and seem to come in to chat to each other over your massage - they dont seem to understand privacy. It seems more like a hotel for Indian tourists rather than Western, the breakfast buffet is mainly Indian curries and cuisine with little in terms of a healthy option. Large groups often turned up to take photos of the pool and hotel? They seemed to be tour groups?? The hotel is a nice break in a good location but is not 4 or 5 star. This is a western 3 star hotel. Its clean and safe but not luxury,
