Services include wake up calls, a turndown service, complimentary newspapers, refrigerators and extra towels/bedding. The Delvin Bar at CityNorth, directly accessed from reception, has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service with casual bar food available all day and through the evening until 9.30pm. Popular options in the Delvin Bar include afternoon cream tea with an optional chilled glass of champagne from €25 per couple. The Mornington Restaurant at CityNorth offers fine dining in a luxurious yet intimate setting. Breakfast is served each morning from 7am to 10am, Dinner is served till 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday nights Sunday lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm from only €15ppOur menu choices, determined by our head chef, are a la carte or Table d'hôte, using the freshest ingredients and a dash of creativity, complemented by fine wines and a wide selection of after-dinner drinks. At CityNorth Hotel, our visitors are well located to take in an authentic Irish culture scene within the glorious Boyne Valley region noted for its heritage, mystery and romance. Visit the Bru Na Boinne Visitor Centre (Ancient burial tombs at Newgrange), Martello Tower or the Old Mellifont Abbey just minutes from the hotel.There are plenty of activities nearby for families (keeping both tots and teens happy) including the fantastic Funtasia entertainments centre and Aqua Park, Red Mountain Open Farm and Ardgillan Castle with home baking sold on-site. We also have a games room available for the entertainment of the younger generation. A new fitness suite is located in the hotel with state of the art equipment for an invigorating workout. Our more sporty/outdoorsy guest will enjoy the superb links golfing in the region, go-karting, greyhound racing or horse-riding - all of which can be booked with our reception staff. Try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, with lessons available at Courtlough - Irelands Premier shooting ground.Then there is always a spot of retail therapy, choose from some seriously stylish local boutiques or the larger shopping centres with all the high street brands you can think of.. “Very modern”
This is a very modern hotel, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food menus offered tend to be higher-end in terms of selection and price. The biggest drawback to the hotel is its isolation. You would require a car to get to nearby villages.
