“Good motel for the price paid”

This motel was in a good location--near the Grand Rapids airport but not too close to hear the planes and was a good price. The room was efficient and the bathroom clean with a non-slip tub and well placed hand rails. The electric baseboard heater was quiet for a good winter night sleep. A good budget motel.

I had the option of opening my window after unlocking it, and listening to the gentle rustle of a cottonwood tree. The weather was perfect in May.

This hotel was extremely clean, well located with friendly and informed guest services staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was ok - wished for a hot waffle, but took the chill off the morning with oatmeal and decent coffee. As I left, I had to chuckle at the guests leaving the Hilton across the street; I'm sure I slept as well or better than they did for a fraction of the price!

Price was right. Free internet. No Resteraunt though but lots of places to eat nearby. Certianly not 4 star but good value for the money.

I was very pleased. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was neat, clean, peaceful and easy to get to. It had the amenities I was looking for; complimentary continental breakfast, exercise equipment and a clean room with the coffee pot in the room. I would recommend it highly. Keep in mind I was looking for cost efficiency, not luxury.

For the most part the stay at the Super 8 was good. We knew what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was smallish but had enough furniture to be functional for two people. We had a few picky issues that were immediately resolved by the staff and we enjoyed our time there. The breakfast was more than we expected and was actually quite nice.

In spite of some major street construction, the motel staff kept the outside clean of dirt and dust so the inside stayed clean too. Decent breakfast.
