“great close to home getaway”

This place was extremely convenient and was a great getaway for the night. We got a suite which was a great size. It had a good sized sitting room, mini kitchen, great sized bathroom and also a bedroom. There were large flat screen TV's and plenty of channels and movies to choose from. The only downside is that I feel like the price was too much for one night, especially for the hotel's location.

Stayed here twice, and will stay again. Good value (particularly the suite).

“Needs some work, reasons for optimism”

I reserved the room online; the clerk had no idea when I checked in. Took 10 minutes to find reservation, and another 20 (not kidding) for him to enter data into computer so I could sign the credit card slip. Room was inexplicably depressing. Clean, but old & run-down. Sheets had cigarette burns (non-smoking room). TV remote non-functional (got a replacement quickly from front desk, but this was one of many trips - across a rainy driveway - to that front desk for help). No WIFI reception in my room, got a network wire from front desk but still unable to connect. Asked for "nice" restaurant recommendation - sent to diner across street - "anything nicer than a diner?" led to suggestion of McDonald's. Toilet was startling (a phrase I never thought I'd utter) - every time I flushed, it was like a jet taking off. Towels like sandpaper - threadbare, non-absorbent, harsh. Not enough parking for the number of rooms. The staff was very courteous and helpful, within limits as noted above (learning computer system, tied to office). Overpriced for the quality of the room. Near busy street with lots of traffic noise - bring a fan for white noise. Location is convenient to the highway. Rooms could easily (and inexpensively) be made to feel less like dingy minimum-security prison rooms. Housekeeping and maintenance of infrastructure could be easily improved. Could be a good place, but needs lots of work.

Overall satisfied with the room..standard 2 bed,bath non-smoking room. The room did have a little scent to it, but nothing out of the ordinary. Having a fridge and microwave available in room is always convenient. The general location was nice. Lots of restaurants, gas and supermarkets available.

“Beds uncomfortable”

Very overpriced for what we got. Very uncomfortable beds!

“Spend a few bucks more for a nicer hotel and better service!”

The hotel looks fine from the outside but our room smelled sour. The service was horrible and the owners made us feel uncomfortable with their cold personalities. I stay in many hotels but this was 1 of my least favorite.
