“Great weekend”
Great hotel - No problems with room, checking in, food, facilities etc - Very close to train station and easy walk to town
“I hope to stay there again”
Everything was great. Just make sure that the breakfast is included in the price you pay for the room and don't count on a hot tub that's actually hot.
“A really top class hotel”
Good location near Damtor rail station. Friendly attentive staff anticipated all our needs. Excellent facilties, furnishings and a spacious quiet room. Best break fast ever and a choice of restaurants. Swimming pool great for unwinding. Highly recommended.
“Smallest rooms are still fantastic”
The "single" room, even on the first floor, was very clean with great amenities and a king sized bed.
“Take the Plunge”
Recently renovated - bed is perfect - light happy room / bathroom - very good size. Only downsides: foyer area smells a little of chlorine from First Floor pool and I hate caged birds!!! Like the location...by park and lake - 5-10mins walk into town - the nearby train station has all the basics for meals.
“Great location”
This hotel an unexpected and wonderful find. Last year I stayed at the Intercontinental, it was much more expensive and no nicer. The breakfast is great and (for Europe) pretty reasonable. The location is great too. A really nice neighborhood and close to the Hamburg Messe.
“A lovely stay”
Had a lovely stay of 4 nights at this hotel. Staff were uniformly friendly, pleasant, helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and of decent size. In the spa I only used the pool -- very nice. Dinner at the in-house Piazza Romana restaurant was lovely if a bit pricey, service and food were excellent. Overall pleasant atmosphere. The lack of a clothes iron or a coffee-pot in the room was a bit of an inconvenience, but coffee-shops at least abound within minutes' walking distance.

“great hotel”
The staff was very friendly. They all spoke some degree of english as we did not speak german. The hotel is located within a 15 minute walk of downtown and the train station is only a 2 minute walk. The hotel was great.
“Raphi”
The hotel is 2 Min. away from the train station Damtor (S-Bahn and international trains!). The rooms are big and very clean. Expecially nice were the big shower, the king size bed and the gorgeous breakfast buffet.
