“can't wait to go back”

this was a really lovely resort to stay in so much to do during the day lovely pools the beach at the back of the resort was beautiful had everything you want jet ski beach beds etc.... the night entertainment in this resort was really good had something different every night. not many staff know english so it might be hard to communicate with. but overall this resort is the best 1 week hoilday i had.

It is very close to the beach with a lovely swimming pool area! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious food and hilarious intertainment! The only downfall was my short stay!

“Good for kids”

This is really a family hotel. If youre taking kids then Im sure theyll love it as theres lots to do on site and the Animation team are there to make the kids have a fun holiday. I wouldnt recommend the hotel for a quiet getaway for couples. The ambient noise levels are too high too much of the time - not only because of all the children there, but because the Animation team feel the need to shout all the time, especially during meal times. If you do go, make use of the 6 speciality restaurants in the evenings. Not only is the food nicer (and hotter) than the normal buffet, but you get served in quiet surroundings away from the hustle and bustle. Although there is a lot to do, dont make the mistake (which a lot of people seem to) of staying within the complex. Take a taxi into Hammamet town for only 3 or 4 dinars - its well worth the visit to see the coastal town with the medina and lots of shops and cafes around the sea front. If you get a chance to eat out, Pomodoro (a first floor restaurant situated along the sea front) is well worth a visit. The food and service are both excellent. Having booked through the website, we separately booked transfers through the telephone number on the site. This service was very efficient and is definitely worth sorting out in advance. Youll still get hassled at the airport by others who want your business, but its better to know you already have it sorted.

“5 Day stay at Caribbean World Hammamet”

the hotel is a 3 star category. the good things: rooms a ok size, right on the private beach, white sand, free chairs and cushions. the food was not great at the hotel, lots of choice-the bread items were excellent and a good choice of salads, the rest was questionable. But again, if you could always find something which was good. Alcohol: free local wine, beer, vermouth, and some other liquours. We only drank red wine and that was good. Good entertainment in the hotel, although i wish they did not harass to join in all the time. Great place for kids, as the entertainment was tailored towards them. Lots of pizzas and finger foods for kids as well.

Generally we had a very relaxing,enjoyable holiday at this resort staying at the beach site(the garden site is across the road, it is smaller and a little quieter).The resort is situated between the new and old Hammamet towns,approx 30min walk along the beach or a short taxi ride to either.The water sports,canoeing,hobby-cat sailing,windsurfing and swimming pools were fantastic as were the rest of the outdoor facilities,including, football,beach-volleyball,archery,tennis,boules, aerobics,and dance lessons.The animation team are very lively,we found them very entertaining especially in the production of the lion king musical.The resort is fairly large and was very quiet during our visit in May with few British visitors.(most visitors were Italian)All of the staff spoke English at various standards(all better than our French or Arabic)so communication was no problem. The rooms however were in need of re-plastering, painting and a general overhaul,our first room toilet seat broken and the bath drainage was so slow that after a shower the bath was full!Reception staff agreed to move us to another room with little fuss,next room was adequate but far from luxurious.The hotel is only classified as 3* for a good reason.The food is not of the same standard as UK, especially the red meats, Chicken and fish are better options,the salads and vegetables were varied and of good quality and the bread is freshly baked on site.And finally, Alcohol,Our duty free supplies came in very handy!
