“Great location & a superb breakfast”
A rather creaking hotel that's in need of some modernisation but a very enjoyable stay nonetheless. A perfect location at the heart of the New Forest in a charming town. There's ample car parking on-site and a terrific breakfast is served each morning. As previously commented the condition of the corridors & reception is somewhat tired & needs a bit more than a lick of paint. The room itself was ok with a nice balcony but an incredibly small bathroom that wasn't helped by the towel rail taking up so much room! The staff were friendly and I'd definitely consider returning in the future.

the Lyndhurst Park hotel is in need of serious maintance both inside and out the lift is something out of the the 1920s I am surprised that the public are allowed to use it, however the staff were good,
“Great location - hotel a little dated”
After reading reviews on other websites of this hotel before we went, we were dreading what we would find. When we arrived however we were suprised - the hotel looks a little dated and the inside does need redecorating (its not bad justvery old fashioned) but it has clean the room was a good size, the staff were friendly - the location was GREAT!

The hotel has a lot of potential but needs some thorough refurbishment and a new lift.

The hotel is in an excellent position but the reception and corridors were in a very poor decorative state. Bedrooms were probably modernised 10 years ago but on a budget. Excellent dining room and breakfast. The hotel needs alot of money spent on improvements.
“Stay away!”
The cleanliness of the room was very poor, the service was poor and there was no heating in the room and it tooks us several reminders to get an electric heater placed in the room so we weren't too cold. I had to go out and buy toilet cleaning wipes in order to use the bathroom safely. I struggle to say anything positive except that the breakfast was reasonable however since the hotel is located in the new forest some locally produced sausages, eggs, bacon etc would have been welcome.
