“FELT AT HOME AT THIS HOTEL”
I stayed 10 days at this hotel and was very comfortable. Staff was always very friendly and they always tried to help in any way posssible.. The room was quiet and clean and the international buffet breakfast was more than I ever expected. The hotel was in minutes by taxi into the center and I even walked to the center a few times as the streets and the shops along the way added to a great Hanoi, Vietnam experience. I will stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Hanoi and again I must say that I have stayed at many hotels in many countries and this hotel ranks as one of the top on my list..
“Excellent hotel”
It is a great!
“convenient location to city attractions”
Service was excellent and hotel staff were polite and friendly
“Impressed”
This hotel is not in the greatest location but taxis are dirt cheap in Hanoi and for $2-3 you get to wherever you want to go. We loved everything else. Phantastic breakfast buffet, very helpful and accomodating hotel staff, sufficient English spoken, nice room, spacous and comfortable, no arguments about Internet access and inclusion of breakfast in price. Highly recommended, we had 5-star treatment.
“Hanoi Madness”
I really enjoyed our two night stay at the Swiss Belhotel Horison Hotel in Hanoi. The locals know it as the Horison. It's not a new hotel, but it was clean, very comfortable and in a central location. We had an executive room on the 10th floor with a great view of the city & unfortunately the smog (which is the same all across Vietnam - pity as it is a beautiful country). The staff were welcoming & very helpful. I loved that the executive rooms we booked got a fast VIP check in & out on the 10th floor rather than standing with the crowds in reception. We were also able to dodge the crowds in the restaurant for breakfast as this was included in the room rate and served in the executive lounge on the 10th floor. I loved the food & service at the chinese restaurant on the 1st floor. Heaps of spices & flavour which we thought was lacking in a lot of the cuisine throughout Vietnam. The doormen & reception staff were great and always eager to help or point you in the right direction. I give it the thumbs up and would be happy to stay again.
“A very good choice”
A very good choice
“Horison Hotel in Hanoi”
Some of the best hotel staff that I've seen anywhere. The neighborhood does not have much real close but you can walk to a couple of tourist locations.
“Nice hotel but don't prefer the location”
We booked this hotel only because we couldn't get into any in the Old Quarter. It was a nice hotel but a negative to us was we had to take taxis to get everywhere. The breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern.
“short break in hanoi”
food excellant, staff polite and friendly, but don,t buy the water in your room, it worked out at £4.50 a litre bottle.
“Value for money..”
Staff very polite, cheerful and welcoming... SMiles never ceased from their faces. WIll greet you everytime they see you. Hotel room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Transportation ever available outside hotel (taxis waiting to serve you). Breakfast selection pretty good. Value for money !!!
