“Amazing”
The service was amazing, very nice hotel with a very location
“Perfect Location to explore Hanoi.”
Hotel excellently located, with in walking distance of old Hanoi and the central places in the guide books. Staff very friendly and helpful.
“Services are extraordinary”
Different from "Hanoi Hilton", Hilton Hanoi Opera is everything you need for business travel. Services at hotel are extraordinary. Great room, food, location and best of all is the staff. We certainly will stay at Hilton again on next trip.
“Great location.”

“comfort and class in hanoi”
the hanoi hilton was an exceptional hotel. we booked with expedia and got an amazing rate to say, well under 50% of the standard nights fee. the hotel was very beautiful, clean and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. the breakfast buffet was quit good as well and although it was a bit to cold to use all the facilities when we were there, the pool look very nice also. the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the lake which is basically the city center, so its really good that is close, but not directly in the heart of the city where its a lot louder. but hanoi is pretty small and easily walkable, so the location is not a problem in any way. the room was pretty nice, not amazing, but very large, clean and comfortable. overall it was a great place to stay.
“Hanoi Opulence”
This hotel lived up to the hype that I heard about it before going. It is definitely a 5-star hotel and well-worth the price. The lobby is incredibly beautiful and the rooms are great. The breakfast that is included is unbelievable! A huge selection of different types of food and all delicious. I enjoyed my stay greatly!
“The new Hanoi Hilton is a classy treat”
What used to be called the "Hanoi Hilton" was a prison for American POWs, mainly pilots shot down over North Vietnam. Well just forget about that! The Hanoi Hilton is a really classy hotel, with great service, nice rooms, an ideal central location and everyting you want. Try the executive floor benefits, it's worth the extra money: you get the broadband internet for free, as well as the excellent breakfast on 7th floor, plus use of the executive lounge (I used it for meetings) and drinks in the late afternoon. The staff is super friendly and competent, the lobby lounge has good coffee, even the brand new restaurant, though a bit cold in design, warms you with great food and exorbitant service. Overall, a really good experience, to be recommended and repeated. I'll be back.
“Hanoi Hlton - really excellent”
We travelled to Vietnam for my son's wedding in February 2011. The Hotel staff were excellent, rooms perfectly cleaned. The rooms included spotless bathrooms, a mini fridge and a free to use safe, TV etc. The bed was extremley comfortable and the air conditioning worked. When we had breakfast or dinner in the resturants the food was very nice and the menus catered for all our tastes. We used Room service quite often between midnight and 6 am and this service was good too. I have stayed in a few Hilton hotels in the UK and the experience in Hanoi was the best one I have stayed in. It provided a safe an tranquil haven from the hustle and bustle outside. Location wise there are a few places of interest very close by. Others such as Hoan Kien Lake you could walk or get a taxi to. I recommend asking at reception before deciciding to walk or get a taxi. The weather in February can be quite misty and variable. We had mist, fine drizzle, dry hazy sunshine with max temperatures betweem 15 and 20 degrees C.
“everything is great except the location”
hotel is very nice rooms were reasonably priced. location though isn't that great i would stay somewhere else if i went back to hanoi just because the location
“Good location, worth the money”
We were only there for one night, but they allowed us to check out late to accommodate our later flight out of Ha Noi. We did have to pay for an extra half day, but it was still helpful. We were also able to walk to most of the big sights, and it was a very comfortable hotel. I would certainly suggest it for anyone looking to enjoy the sites of Ha Noi. There might be cheaper options, but at least with the Hilton you know what you will be getting.
