“Great place.”
Great Comfortable and CLEAN room with a wonderful view of the Capital.
“Nice place”
We were only there for one night, and found the staff to be very hospitable. Its a nice place to stay for a weekend in Hartford and is very centrally located near good food (the garlic bread at "Hot Tomatoes" across the street is amazing) and Union Station, the train and bus station.
“Service”
Service was absolutely excellent. Hotel was very close to everything.
“ct on the fly”
great place woked well coming in from the tour
“Nice place to stay”
Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. One minor problem was taken care of immediately by the housekeeping staff. The hotel is convenient to the XL Center and to several good restaurants.
“Very Nice and Clean”
The front desk staff and everyone were VERY accomodating!
“Great Hotel!”
Very professional and helpful staff. The hotel is right across from the State Capitol in a good urban neighborhood.
“Great Hotel Pick!”
Having never been to Hartford Conn. We were pleasantly surprised with the Holiday Inn Express on Asylum Street. From the time we checked in, the well informed staff did so much to welcome us and assure our comfort as guests. The room was very clean, well equipped, comfortable and provided us a fantastic view of the Hartford Capitol Building! The staff (Tanya) helped with directions, restaurants (Salute! YUM) and providing us with what we needed was an extra courtesy! Every staff member I met was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was more than I expected and very tasty. I wish I could say that for the many hotels we have visited. Holiday Inn Express is fulfilling its' comittment in serving the community and the traveling public I await my next return to Hartford with happy anticipation!
“The Place to Stay in Hartford”
The hotel was located perfectly next to the Greyhound bus station, Capitol Building, Bushnell Park, Mark Twain House, XL Center, and downtown Hartford. The employee at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby was very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. As far as our room was concerned- we were pleasantly surprised! Very clean, large window overlooking downtown Hartford. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Hartford area.
“Very refreshing”
I came in super tired from a long long day and I couldn't have been more pleased with the lady at the front desk and when I walked into my room. The bed was super comfortable, they had a list of stations right by the tv, the bathroom very clean and was stocked with usuals and more and had excellent fluffy towels, and then I was even able to get some work done using the complementary wifi! The only thing that might bother people was the night club next door. You couldn't see anything but you could hear the thump thump of the music. However, this did stop around 1 or 2am so for those who stay up late, not really a problem and for those who this would bother, based on my experience, the front desk would probably have ear plugs for you! Also, the free Star Shuttle stops right around the corner so you can pretty much get anywhere downtown for free. Super awesome experience. I was super pleased.
