“Aloha crater”
Beautiful, slightly funky, but comfortable and spectacularly beautiful place. Then there is the lava tube!
“Quiet and comfortable”
The hotel is tiny and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It is not far from the Volcano park entrance. Recommend you to go there as eraly as possible before the major groups arrive..
“this place is AWESOME”
this place is awesome. we plan to stay there again. the owners are great and even offer (for free) a hike to a old lava tube. the rooms are really nice and clean. she baked us hawaiian bread for breakfast that was great.
“Very scenic, cozy”
Owners were very friendly, helpful, gave good traveling tips. Accomodations were very clean, spacious, cute. Loved the crater, hot tub. Great breakfast, too!
“Great lodge for exploring Volcano NP”
We stayed at the Lodge for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It's nicely maintained and clean. The lodge is located in the middle of a rain forest which is pretty neat. It also comes with a tour of a lava tube that is better than the one in the park. Breakfast was very substantial and included fresh fruits, homemade banana bread, yogurt, juice and milk. The beds were comfortable. The home was built from the ground up by the owners and has its own quaint charm. There is a outdoor jacuzzi, which means you get to soak in the hot tub in the middle of the rain forest. The lodge is in Volcano Village which is a mile away from the park, a perfect home base to explore the park.
“great location to see volcano”
Our family of 4 traveled there in Aug, service was great, we had plenty of food for breakfest each morning, thanks.
“explore the wet side of Hawaii”
The owners bent over backward to be accommodating. As we stayed for awhile we found some amenities lacking such as a closet or even hooks for hanging clothes. Preparing meals was not possible either. None the less, we had a full fridge with fresh fruit and bread everyday. The location is quiet if you don't mind the noise from the other lodgers...that could get really loud. The B&B is minutes from the park and a great place to stay if you want to explore it.
“very nice”
my boyfriend & i stayed here as a little valentine day getaway. the room was very comfy & there was a nice variety of continental breakfast items upon our arrival. the innkeepers even stock the fridge with milk, juices, and waters. what was REALLY nice was the jacuzzi... located right under the trees, with colorful lights, and speakers to set a relaxing mood. :)perfect for those chilly volcano nights!
“This hotel is very similiar to a bed and breakfast. it was fun.”
The owners are very eager to make sure guest have items they need and are comfortable. Very quiet and relaxing. My children were not sure about the stay at first but loved the environment and the crater! We really enjoyed this wonderful experience. I would request these accommodations again.
“Very nice place in the middle of the rainforest. Lavatubes on site”
