“Excellent value for the independent traveller”

The Chisun Hotel in Hiroshima is a perfect, small hotel for independent travellers like myself and my wife. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2012 and enjoyed Hiroshima using this hotel as a base. The rooms are not large but everything we needed was fitted in. The hotel and our room were both spotlessly clean, and brilliantly located close to a tram stop that is ideal if you arrive from the railway station and also takes you (cheaply) to the shopping area and 'A' bomb memorial park. The hotel provides free coffee in the lobby and a convenience store couldn't be more convenient - it's next door! My only criticism is that the instructions for the air-con were in Japanese so I struggled with this, and I couldn't open the window for fresh air at night as I didn't realise the window is hinged vertically at the centre. (I only learned this at the next Chisun hotel we stayed at). Overall, this is an excellent, small but great-value hotel for the independent traveller - but don't bring lots of luggage as you will struggle to find storage space in the room. The buffet breakfast is great value too in a pleasant dining room. I'd recommend this hotel to family and friends who visit Hiroshima.

“Great,Small but Very comfortable”

Service was great rooms were clean but small, however if you are serious about seeing the sights then all you need is a bed. Location was within walking distanceof many of the great sights and the streetcars are right at the front door. Three stops from Hiroshima Rail Station. Staff were very very helpful, would definately stay there again.

“Clean, Modern and well located”

Very clean and modern hotel in the heart of the shopping district. Easy to find and excellent quality of service. For the price very good and I would reccomend it.

Good location - walking distance from station, all main sights and lots of shops and restaurants. Room was small and view was of a wall but given the cost I was very satisfied.

“Great price, location, and service!”

I arrived 3 hours early but the staff there was friendly and helped me by checking in my baggage so I could explore the city till check in. When I got back my bags were waiting for me in my room. The location is excellent you can cross the street to take in the local nightlife and restaurants and the local transport train stops right in front of the hotel making travel around town and to Hiroshima station convenient. The single room is small compared to US standards but your not staying in your hotel when you’re in Japan right? You’re here to get out and explore. So the rooms are just right for a good night sleep with all the amenities. The price is a barging so you save money so you can spend it else ware. I highly recommended the Chisun Hotel and will stay here again when I travel to Hiroshima.

“perfect in all aspects”

A miodern and clean business hotel in a great location. Staff were very nice, helpful and spoke perfect English. Location right opposite a tram stop with easy access to the JR station and teh Peace Park and within walking distance from the shopping district full of restaurants.

Staff efficient and welcoming. Room decent size and well equipped. Air con efficient. Rooms cleaned and towels and robes replaced everyday. If sleeping in, staff would leave a clean pack outside door. Position central and well served by tram which stopped outside door. Reception area always clean and well kept with helpful and efficient staff. Very good value for money.

Small room but convenient, everything we needed plus superb service.Location nearer the train station than the Peace Park,easy walk to both. Across the road from main shopping arcades and restaurants. Quiet. Would highly recommend.
