“best travel experience”
Great location with 20 mins' drive to airport & 10 mins' drive to town centre. The room we stayed was wonderful, with a living room, spacious washroom & kitchen. Very good service & value for money. Highly recommended!
“We will return”
We went there for our 40th wedding anniversary and found the accommodation great and ideally situated for our needs. Not having been to Tasmania before my wife and I had a great trip and hope to return

Beautiful place to stay in, close to city centre and also the Domain. But watch out for internet rates - 75c per minute; if that matters to you, as it does to me, you may want to stay elsewhere.

The hotel is located 3 miles from downton and there is no adequate public transportation. The hotel is located just off the main highway coming into town so is very accesible. It's necessary to rent a car wich in Tasmania, is highly recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and most accomodating. The room furnishings are slightly worn but spotless clean. The concierge staff are just wonderful as well as the dinning room crew. Food is better than average. Overall, I give it a thumbs up! Great value!

I wanted a few days away to enjoy my birthday and chose Rydges in Hobart, The first impressions at the reception were the same for the entire five days...efficient, well-planned with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The room was just what I wanted, plenty of room, with all the accessories I could want. Steve in the restaurant was always attentive and helpful.and made me feel I was the only customer! The few days spent there were rejuvenating, but restful and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. J

A comfortable place to stay in relaxed surroundings just out of the noise of the inner city and traffic. Plenty of off-street parking and a good outlook when dining.
