“HK Hotel for Business.”
The Grand Hyatt is a great HK hotel if you are attending a Trade Show or Convention at the HK Convention Centre in Wanchai. There is not a lot around the Hotel othe than bars and clubs. MTR is 7 minutes walk as is the ferry to Tsim Tsa Tsui. The hotel room we had was a harbour view room with a large window looking across to Kowloon side and a large bathroom with seperate bath and shower. The room had a large working desk. Service is 1st class and food is excellent, although a little expensive. We recomend this hotel for business travellers if you are working on the island.
“Very comfortable”
Great staff and beautiful lobby and pool area
“Can't wait to go back,”
servise was fantastic
“Expensive but lovely - recommend it for relaxation and high standards.”
Well organised and reliably efficient. Lovely hotel but it is all very expensive, aimed for the wealthy. Once in you have to pay extra for using facilities such as the swimming pool, spa baths, which are very expensive. If money is no object, it is the place to go.
“One of Hong Kong's highlights”
My partner and I were very pleased with our choice of the Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong, we hope to return! 1. Great staff, helpful, friendly, extremely polite; 2. Great facilities/services including concierge, buffet breakfast (continental and Chinese), other restaurants, pool and gym and Plateau spa; 3. Very clean room and comfortable bed (although duvet a bit hot during Summer but they swapped for a blanket immediately on request), great toiletries; 4. No sound spill in rooms so nice and quiet. Excellent non-smoking level; 5. Close to MTR Wan Chai and Star Ferry (to Tsim Sha Tsui), good Wan Chai restaurants, not in immediate area of 'nightlife' but close by (HK$24 taxi ride to Lan Kwai Fong/Soho) which we preferred; 6. Extra care provided: we were permitted to check-in early (9am arrival) and check-out later. Sounds small but it made a huge difference.
“Luxury and service”
We recently spent the long weekend in Hong Kong. Great time to visit as the fireworks over Victoria Harbour were fantastic. The hotel arranged a party in their west garden and we could socialize and watch the show at the same time. Friendly, efficient staff and the room was amazing. Harbour view, king bed, just lovely. This was my first trip to HK but definitely not my last
“top 5 star hotel”
having stayed at some of the best in asia i was extremely impressed with the attention to detail provided by the hotel.from the moment the taxi door is opened upon arrival my young daughter and i were impressed by the level of service and friendlyness provided by staff. The concierge was very efficient and even able to recommend restaurants that were some of the best in hong kong and yet still catered to a childs tastebuds.our room was exactly as stated in expedia if you are looking for a true 5 star hotel then this rates highly.
“Simply the best of the best”
This is my home away from home. The beds , the staff , the service , the food all exceeds my expectations and I would not stay at another hotel in Hong Kong. Pay the additional and stay in the Club - awesome !
“Hong Kong”
The hotel staff was attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable with an awesome view. It was worth it to pay extra to stay on the executive level, which included a full breakfast, and drinks and appetizers in the evening. We would choose this hotel if we return to Hong Kong!
“Beyond Spectacular !”
Some times hotels get it right and The Grand Hyatt ticks all the boxes. I travel a lot and stay in many hotels and this hotel stands out from all. The service is 2nd to none. Whilst there are newer hotels that are possibly a little better appointed none can beat The Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong for the overall experience. The staff are beyond superb, the rooms great and especially the ones with what can only be described as having one of the best views of the harbour and Kowloon in Hong Kong. The restaurants are all wonderful serving spectacular food. I can not say one bad thing about this hotel which is probably why I keep going there after 15 + years. They are renovating next year and as long as the staff and service remain constant that will make The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong unbeatable.
