“Perfect for short stay”

I stayed here wih my son in a twin-bed room. I chose it because we arrived late in the evening and flew out fairly early the next morning but one, so we had one full day in Hong Kong, abd I wanted to be close to the airport. On our day trip we caught the MTR train into the city, did the usual tourist sights there, and had time to come back to the hotel and do a trip to Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha at the top of Lantau Island. The free bus service to/from the airport is great. The buffet breakfast is the biggest I've ever seen. Novotel Citygate was perfect for us.

“Simply the best!”

I read the recommendations from other TripAdvisors which influenced my decision to book this hotel, whilst visiting Hong Kong this time. I will definitely return to this hotel again. It was wonderful. We were upgraded to a higher level room (without asking) and there was not a moment's hesitation when we arrived from Europe at 8.30am hoping to go into our room early - 'Not a problem'. I have recommended this hotel to many people and will continue to do so.

“Refreshingly different”

Very impressed with the Novotel Citygate. Too bad we were only staying overnight between flights from Shanghai and from Hong Kong to New York. The restaurant we used was superb. The decor is unique and we had a great view out the window. Connects to brand new shopping centre and MTR station. Throughly recommend it and staff were great.

“Fantastic room! Only wish I were staying longer!”

I was really blown away by the high quality of this place. I mostly stayed here for the convenient location to the airport, but I would return anytime. Beautiful room, hallways, pool etc. Great location to shopping, transit, cable car, etc. Very impressive.

“Airport Hotel”

Great if you're breaking your trip overnight. Hotel Shuttle bus runs regularly from Airport - straight to check in. Magnificent buffet breakfast. Clean, modern and great place to stay.

“Great place near airport”

This hotel is 5 minutes by bus from HK Airport and adajacent to the outlet mall. You can relax, walk, dine and shop in a much less crowded environment than the airport. Rooms are nice and confortable. Their Club Floor has otstanding service and the included breakfast is acceptable with a beautiful view of the bay. I will come back.

“Really impressed by staff”

My plan was a 2 night stopover in Hong Kong, however this turned into a 7 night stopover when my wife had an accident that hospitalized her in Kowloon. The hotel staff were very helpful in rearranging flights home, assuring me on accomodation and looking after us when my wife came out of hospital. The hotel is connected via a shopping mall to the MTR which gets you into the centre of Hong Kong for less than 2 pounds. Restaurants and food choice in hotel are great. If I was to go to Hong Kong again I would stop here again.

“Great location and price”

Located next to mall and MTR line with free transport to/from airport. Much better than staying at expensive in-airport hotel.
