“Out of the way in a good way”
Good-sized room, very clean, helpful staff. I agree with other posters about having a better internet card system with metered minutes. We loved the location, it is not a "terrible neighborhood," as someone suggested, it is an old and safe Chinese neighborhood full of wonderful local shops, laundries, fruit stands and noodle shops. I enjoy being around the local food! The tram is 25 cents US to central, or if you're in a hurry, a cab to/from Central, or the Ferry piers is 3 or 4 dollars US, f ive-minute ride. The hotel also runs a shuttle during business hours.
“RAMADA HONG KONG GR8 DEAL + HOTEL”
THIS WAS A GREAT HOTEL FOR ANYBODY BUSSINESS OR PLEASURE. THE TRAMS ARE RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR AND TAKE YOU TO ALL JUMPING OFF POINTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE GR8 ROOMS, INTERNET, AND LOCAL CUISINE IF YOU'RE A RISK TAKER.
“Hong Kong Rocks!!!”
Ramada Hong Kong is very well run, clean, affordable and convenient to all the amenaties the city has to offer. Train, buses, tram all very close by and never any problem getting a ride or a taxi. Many restuarants within easy walking distance. My second stay at this very nice hotel.
“A very good place to stay!”
I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. We were not able to afford the top end Hong Kong hotels and thought from the other reviews that The Ramada sounded a fair choice. We were not disappointed at all. Good sized room with slightly separated bedroom area, clean & tidy bathroom, pleasant living area and even a harbour view (ok,it was a view between other buildings, but never the less a decent few of the water). Found it a fascinating area to be staying in, a great chance to see another side of Hong Kong - all those fascinating dried food shops. Very good transport links (bus & tram), though we always walked into the centre every day. Price was excellent for what we got! Would stay there again if back in HK.

“Hong Kong Ramada”
This was a very pleasant hotel and the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the harbor. The only negative was that the shower was tiny and it was hard to keep water from leaking on the floor. There was a nice breakfast buffet which was extra. If I return to Hong Kong, I would stay there again.
“Very impressive hotel for the money”
I was really impressed with the hotel stay there. One other reader wrote about the shower being a bit small which is true but manageable though. I was really surprised with how new the hotel was for the price I paid, a real bargain and highly recommended in the Hong Kong area.

Staff at the Ramada Hotel very pleasant and helpful. Service, particularly at breakfast was extremely efficient. Staying there was a pleasure.

Very nice hotel in every way. I think it is only rated 3 star but it feels much , much better than that. My only comments are: small charge to use wireless internet in your room and that is per session. I think the choices started at half , then 1, 2 or 3 hours. However they had a business centre available where you could use one of their, three available computers (half hour sessions if people waiting). My only other minor observation was the shower cubicle in my room was very small. The actual room itself was a generous size, especially for Hong Kong standards, however the shower was a round cylinder which I'm sure a big person would find very difficult and uncomfortable to use. Apart from that, very clean and super comfortable room. Would love to get hotels of that standard at that price more often! I'm pretty sure it was the A10 and the A12 airport buses that have a stop only a few blocks away. The A10 is only $HK40 from the airport!
“Good hotel, good location I will stay here again”
It was the final part of my 6 weeks trip in HK I wish I had found this hotel before, the quality is good and very good location, I definitively recommend this hotel...I will stay here again next time.
