“Satisfied Customer”
The room I have is realy petit, slightly smaller than a cruise ship cabin, but the location is really very convenient, very clean and the price is very good, if you don't have large luggages (we have only two 22"er and backpack) I highly recommend this hotel, it also provides you a tea-coffee maker with tea bags and coffee packets. I certainly will go back if I don't find anything better. Oh it is very close to famous Temple Street practically next door.
“Can't wait to go back!”
I liked Dorsett Seaview Hotel the first time I was there. Been there twice now and it's gonna be the hotel I'd stay in everytime I'm in HK. Although the room's a tad bit small, love the cosiness it gives. Service is good and distance to Mongkok is good! Night walks back to Dorsett Seaview is awesome with restaurants and teahouses lining the neighborhood.
“Great Hotel”
VERY Central, next to the Temple Street, Jade and Lady Street Night Market, very close to Subway + Downtown and easy to get to. In terms of the hotel itself, rooms are a bit on the cozy side, but what else can you expect from one that is located in nearly downtown Hong Kong? The good thing: it was clean & staff was fluent in English. Great restaurants nearby :-)
“definitly will stay in this hotel again”
This hotel has great value to stay in, with comfort shower and bed, the room is little bit small but its acceptable. the services from the reception was not that good, but overall it is good.
“Perfect for a short stay in Hong Kong”
It was great. But be prepared that the room is really small, but sufficient. I have stayed in smaller rooms in Hong Kong before. Everything was new and clean and had a great shower with a rain shower head plus hand held. Had a bit of a view from the window. I did request a non-smoking room, but it appears they don't have any free. From the lift, there were only 2 or 3 floors which are non-smoking. But I could not smell any cigarette smoke in the room, so no complaints. The lift was slow and small and only 2 lifts, so expect to be patient waiting for the lift. Would definitely stay there again if the price is right. It can get expensive in peak seasons.
“Good value for the Hong Kong Kowloon area”
The hotel was apparently rennovated recently as all decor, fixtures and furniture were modern and in excellent condition. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small, but with the prices in the Hong Kong area, you get a real bargain, so it is a fair trade. If you are looking for a hotel near the Kowloon docks, where you can ferry to Macau and China easily, centrally located between main Hong Kong and Disney, and only a few blocks from the subway, it is the best bet.

Great location, wonderful staff, close to MTR, walk to all shopping. 3rd time at Dorsett seaview and will be back again
“Would stay here again!”
Overall the experience was extremely positive. The Restaurant served a very limited breakfast but there are plenty of other restaurants near the restaurant. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. For the price this was a very good value though the room itself was extremely small compared to conventional rooms in the US.
“A room that rocks in Hong Kong! :D”
My stay there was excellent. The staff were very efficient and friendly, the renovated room was fantastic; clean and ultra-modern. The best thing about Hong Kong was this hotel room for me to come back to after being out all day! Dorsett Seaview rocks. And the new wine bar and its owner very cool, informative. When back in HK, this is where I want to stay again. Thanks.
“Small but great location”
This hotel is perfectly located to walk around Hong-Kong. The rooms are minuscule but recently renovated and very clean. This is a great "crash in" hotel. Close enough to walk to the ferries, right next to Temple Street for the night market. The hotel breakfast is minimal but works ok for the price.
