“Not bad for the money”
This place is not much to look at, kind of run down, but clean inside although very dated. Buy they do have wireless internet believe it or not. Not a bad place for the unbelievably low rate. The man who runs it is very nice.
“Red Carpet Horseheads”
Hotel good - not a "bad" neighborhood, just "Vacant" area as the new Interstate has re-arranged the area. Due to the new Interstate, the hotel was a little more difficult to locate. A quick call to the hotel and they set us in the right direction. Overall - clean, neat and looked recently maintained.

The hotel was a bit outdated, and not too easy to find. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room could use remodeling, but was very clean. WiFi was not advertised, but worked fine (ask when you check in - not all rooms work). I was there on a very hot day. The (old) air conditioner took a while to cool the room, but got it nice eventually. Motel is right next to overpass, but old and solid - nice and quiet in the room. All in all, you get what you pay for. A decent room at a great price. Fridge and microwave were a nice touch. Muffins and coffee in the AM.

Hotel is marginal standard, poor breakfast, in poor location, marginal condition. I would not stay again under any conditions.
“Get what you pay for”
My nonsmoking room reeked of cigarettes and the ash tray was clearly recently used, when I walked in. A maintenance worker sprayed the carpet with some Windex (yes) upon my complaint though so it helped a little bit. The walls are paper thin and because the motel is right off of the highway you hear trucks and loud noises at all hours of the day. The bed was not comfortable and there was no fitted sheet, and the pillows were paper thin.
