“Nice place to stay”

I had a 4 night stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again on future business trips to Hutchinson, KS

“Nice Stay”

We traveled to Hutchinson to attend a birthday celebration. This motel met all our needs and was very comfortable and convenient. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. It was a nice stay and we enjoyed it a lot.

“nice hotel for price and location”

My wife and I stayed here on a weekend visiting the Cosmosphere and Salt Mine Museum. Nice hotel and friendly service. Excellent breakfast available. One problem only was that the staff missed cleaning our room while we were out on Saturday but otherwise all was well (we got towels from the front desk, etc). Safe parking lots and lighting and the grounds seemed very well-maintained. Very clean room and hotel in our experience. Free Internet (wireless) in our room with King bed...Room also had a refrigerator and microwave oven which were nice...and a little 'sitting area' with a couch and coffee table. We were pleased overall and plan to stay again if we take our parents to visit the Cosmosphere later in the year.

“Excellent experience”

This HI Express is beautifully maintained and all the little extra touches made it a very pleasant week's stay. Friendly and efficient staff, everything about the hotel was in top condition. I travel to Altoona, PA frequently on business and I will be sure to return to this location.

“Nice stay”

This Holiday Inn Express is well-maintained. You don't expect a lot of luxury because it isn't a full service hotel, but it is clean, comfortable and has everything needed. It is also very conveniently located for the business I conduct while in Hutchinson.

“Hotel stay”

Met with a couple of friends. We had a great time. We were not bothered by anyone, but when we asked for help they were quick to respond. The room was clean and adequate. It would have been nice to have a little bigger table and nicer chairs, but they were adequate.

“One of the nicer places to stay in Hutchinson, KS”

The night staff members went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The woman at the front desk in the morning was terse and somewhat rude. I have seen her there before, so it wasn't that she was just having a bad day; she is consistently that way. The hotel is, overall, well maintained and in good condition. The housekeeping staff is very nice and do a good job on the rooms.

“The hotel was OK.”

The hotel was ok. Everyone at the front desk was friendly. We were traveling as a family of 4, with two small kids. The kids did enjoy the inside swim pool.

“One of the Better Choices in Hutch”

This was my second time staying in Hutchinson, KS, on business. For the first trip, I stayed at the Comfort Inn, which I will never stay at again by the way (long story short, I had ants in my room). The Holiday Inn Express was a little more money, but it was well worth it for the added comfort and overall experience. The night shift lady working the front desk there was a bit rude when I arrived - she seemed flustered and distracted - but the check-in process was pretty painless. The facilities are decent enough with a pool, spa, and fitness room for working out. The continental breakfast was the usual fare (muffins and pastries, cold or hot cereal, coffee, eggs, bacon or sausage, dried out biscuits), but no worse than any other chain's offerings. It was fuel to get me going for the day. The room was fine. The bed was comfortable with decent support (and, hey...no ants!) For business-oriented folks like myself, they need to put in a larger working desk with even a cheap executive high back chair in the room. The el-cheapo, and quite small, desk / table and two chairs were a bit of a pain to do my work on in the evenings (chairs way too low to sit and use a laptop comfortably), but it was adequate. Yeah, I know. You can't expect too much in Hutch (no Marriott or Hilton) but it was overall a good experience and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay and spend their hard-earned cash.

“Not a hotel that I would stay at or recommend”

Hotel was dirty. Hotel did not have refrigerator. Unfriendly staff. The breakfast was cold, especially the omlet.
