“Internet service”
I spent 8 days in this hotel in September 2009 and completely agree with all the positive reviews about service, cleanliness and location. However, given the relatively high price of the accomodation, I was unhappy about the need to pay an additional 20 euros per day to gain internet access in my room. Thankfully there are internet cafes around Taksim. Interestingly my colleagues who stayed in less expensive hotels in the same area were treated to free internet. Get your act together Hyatt Regency!
“Excellent hotel”
I stayed over weekend and breakfast restaurant on Saturday was so crowded and the service was not good enough to me, however,otherwise I really liked the hotel and want to return next time.
“Excellent choice”
The Hyatt has a great location, being a short, flat 10 minute (max) walk away from Taksim Square. The room overlooking the large pool was spacious, comfortable and quiet, with a good bathroom and an excellent bed. The Hotel is quietly situated, with a good sized swimming pool, terrace and pool grill area. Inside, there is a well equipped gym, spa and a lovely hammam. Service is friendly and efficient.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown. Everything is luxurious.
“USA guy impresses his Ukraine Lady!”
We came for a romantic New Years - 5 nights. We chose to upgrade to the Club room level. It was "pricey" but the 2 hour evening cocktails (Chivas Regal for me) and the wonderful finger foods more than offset the charge. The morning breakfast was good, I liked the cheeses & sliced meats, but we did miss an omelet. Nice location near Taksim Square. The room and turn down service was super, fresh water bottles and a bucket of ice each evening. I especially enjoyed the large walk in shower with the huge 'Rain Shower head' - wow!!! My friend loved the 'divan' facing the window where she enjoyed breakfast and her morning "primping"! The service of ALL staff was excellent, not 1 single complaint! We will return.
“Low class location”
Location is very low class and no quality people are there. The staff of the hotel were not frindly.
“Not recommended”
For the amount you pay for this hotel you would expect better service and personalised attention. Front Desk staff were not at all friendly or proficient. The internet connection services also was not good.
“Disappointing stay”
It did not feel the same as other Hyatt that I stayed in the past. Most of the staff were helpful but very money minded.
