“Fantastic Deal”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location that is walking distance to all the major attractions and shopping. Showers are a bit wierd, but for the price......certainly ok. Internet worked fine as well. If I ever go back to Istanbul, I'm sure I will stay with Hotel Agan again.

“Fabulous Hotel for the Price”
The Room: This came with Air conditioning, but as the holiday went on it got turned down more and more. The bathroom was a wet room (the shower was the whole room rather than a seperate area) so you had to protect the loo rolls from the water. There was a Minibar, but we didn't use it. The wifi was good, and gave a decent connection to the internet even on floor 4 (where we were). The Food: The hotel has a restaurant attached (The Salute Restaurant), which served fabulous food. The restaurant also has cushions outside, which just call for lying around and relaxing!!! The morning breakfast was similar to but not the same as when I was in Turkey previously. You won't find any bacon or an english breakfast, but some days they do scrambled eggs, and there is a cold sausage meat supplied every morning. The Staff: The staff are friendly they will help you organise trips around Istanbul, or further afield (Pamukkle etc). The Facilities: There is not much in the way of entertainment facilities at the hotel, but then the Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar are a 10 Minute walk away. Overall: Overall I would recommend this hotel as a cheap convenient hotel to sleep in, and use as a base of operations. The Food is good, the Staff are great, The ambience is fantastic 10 out of 10
“Great value, comfortable room!”
This hotel was much more than I expected given the very affordable room. It was spacious enough and had a large, sunny window with a bathroom equally amply spacious. I was somewhat surprised to have a double bed since I was traveling alone and had received much smaller rooms/beds at other hotels when booking for a single traveler. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor issue was the TV did not seem to be functioning properly. The bellboy tried to demonstrate how to use it but was unable to get it to work; he said a colleague would come up shortly to fix it, which never happened, but it was not a big deal for me so I did not pursue it further. I did not sample breakfast so cannot comment upon that. The location is very close to a tram stop (Gulhane) and I highly recommend using public transportation to the airport if you are looking to travel frugally.
“welcoming hotel”
a very friendly hotel where we were made to feel at home immediately. Good facilities with lovely sitting areas for drinking and eating. Guests get 10% discount on food & drink. Perfectly placed for sites in the old town & access to the metro or train. Strongly recommended.
“a comfortable stay at a moderately priced hotel”
I was very pleased with my stay at Hotel Agan. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was difficult to find at first, but that's just the nature of Istanbul's street grid. I would recommend having the hotel arrange a pickup from the airport rather than taking a taxi. It's much cheaper and they know where they are going.
“Good clean inexpensive hotel”
Very friendly and busy place. In an almost traqffic free street. Very popular with people coming and going at all times. Good breakfast and a good cafe/bar beside the hotel. Very central for key sights.

for the price i paid i was expecting a not so nice place, to my surprise the hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful i go to Istanbul twice a year and i will stay there again
“I am glad I stayed there and will do it again”
The Hotel is cozy and is in great location. Rooms are little small, but clean and new. I normally don’t stay at 2 star hotels if it weren’t for all the good feedback I saw here. I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. Breakfast was good, staff were helpful and spoke good English. The ride to and from the airport was flawless (I used both their Taxi and the shuttle). I had great time and would stay there again.
“WONDERFUL STAY”
All that you could hope for. From check in to check out all was prefect. And I stay in many hotels in the US and some abroad. Dinner was really good, If I had to say something bad, then breakfast was just okay. But it was the same in all the hotels I have used in Turkey. Don't miss out on this treat at a bargain rate.
