“Istanbul's best located Hotel”
The Ottoman Hotel Imperial is a small boutique hotel with the best localization possible. Is literally beside the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Graand Bazar and the topkapi Palace. The staff is very attentious, the breakfast is quite complete with a good variety of fresh food. The room was very good except for the shower box, which was very small. I defnately recommend this hotel, if you're loohing for the best cost-bennefit ratio available.

“Cracking Hotel in Cracking Location”
The hotel is situated right next to the Aya Sofya and only a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. The Grand Bazaar is only 10 minutes walk away. Whilst this places it slap in the middle of the tourist hotspots and restaurants, the people are very friendly and prices are not that different from the quieter areas across the Golden Horn or along the Bosphorus. A word of warning though - watch out for pick pockets, we had a narrow escape and then used a small padlock to lock our back pack. An early tour of the Bosphorus (around 10TL for around 2hrs) is a great way to orientate yourself to the areas outside of those tourist hotspots.
“Thoroughly pleased!”
Our stay was very enjoyable. We were able to check in early, and the room was very nice. Others have mentioned that the rooms are on the smaller side, and while this is true, I don't think they're unusually small for a centrally-located hotel that is housed in a historic building in an old European city. As others have noted, the staff are wonderful. They gave us tips and directions throughout the stay, and they made reservations on a bus to our next destination so that we didn't need to worry about leaving the downtown area early on our last day. We are a same-sex couple, and the staff didn't bat an eye when we were checking in and opted for the room with a single, large bed rather than two twin beds. The only small complaint that we have is that there seemed to be little insulation between our bathroom and the neighboring one. I think this wouldn't even be noticed usually, but since there was a family with young children in the room next to ours, we would sometimes wake to them talking loudly or singing in the bathroom.
“Next door to all the historic sites”
Could not have been closer to all the sites in Istanbul
“Ottoman Empire mean you stay somewhere clean, quiet and nice at a reasonable price”
Staff at the Ottoman Emire hotel were exteremly friendly and helpfull. They didn't hesitate in anyway to help us having a pleasent stay there. I read the reviews before I book my room in this hotel and asked for a room in the upper floors, I was given a room in the third floor which was quiet enough and I liked the room very much, the bath is not very modern and new but its ok compare to the price that you might pay in other hotels.
“Great location for sight seeing”
Hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient and helpful. The breakfast could have had more choice, but what was there was of a high standard. Our room was a little noisy, but they did give you ear plugs!
“Wonderful location, friendly staff”
The Ottoman Imperial is a lovely four star hotel, which did everything right. Friendly service, a nice buffet breakfast, and hassle-free stay in a perfect location right in the heart of Sultanahmet.
“The Best Of Sultan Ahmet”
Ottoman Hotel Imperial has an excellent staff willing to help with all your needs. The hotel itself is a historic building and is beuatifully restored. Rooms are spacious, clean, and over excellent.
“Christmas break at the Ottoman”
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Ottoman Imperial. All the sites were a few minutes walk away. Great restaurants near by ( Albura Kathisma, Aloran and Imbat )as well as the tram which was about a 2 block walk to reach. Upon check in they gave us a couple of pieces of Turkish delight which was quite the treat! Great Hotel, great breakfast buffet (loved the olive pate) can easily reach the sites and you can venture out to less touristy areas using the tram.
