“Truly Fantastic!”
The staff of the Tria Hotel are so incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel entrance is on a little back street, but it allows for it to be a little quieter. One morning when I was there, as I was walking out the door one of the staff asked if I had heat in my room because apparently there was an issue with some other guests. I've never stayed in a hotel where they asked if there was a problem like that before. The hotel is also conveniently located 2 or 3 blocks from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. Other attractions are not very far away on foot. Breakfast was European style, but still had hot items to choose from.
“Perfectly located small hotel with great roof restaurant”
Perfectly located small hotel with great roof restaurant. Great value hotel in the perfect location. Quietly tucked away yet within a few yards of cultural and cafe life. Good rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Would love to have stayed longer.
“great stay in istanbul”
i highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price. the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is plentiful and extensive (not just carbs), the location is great, and it was pretty quiet, especially in the back of the hotel. i stayed again on my return through istanbul and they kindly upgraded my room. they also have free internet in the room, which is always great for us business travelers. overall, an excellent stay.
“Great value -- superb location!”
The hotel is perfectly located: just steps away from everything you would want to see. The rooms are small but fine. If you can, try to get something on a high floor with a view. Definitely a good value for the price.
“Highly recommended”
An excellent stay at the Hotel Tria during our first visit to Istanbul. Superbly located within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Topkapi Palace in a secluded side street in the fascinating, historically rich Sultanahmet district on the European side of the City. A convenient tram stop nearby also provides quick access to public transport for exploring further afield. The Hotel is attractively furnished, clean, and comfortable, and provides a very good buffet breakfast. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, advising on local sights and responding very quickly to a couple of minor problems which emerged during our stay. And the roof top terrace providing an exceptional view over the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara in the foreground and the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia behind is a gem. This hotel is a real find and I highly recommend it to visitors to this wonderful city.
“A Small Hidden Gem, Modern, Clean, Great Views, Good Staff, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”
early arrival to hotel wasn't a problem and neither was late check out with a luggage store, professional helpful staff, free wifi, beautiful view of the hagia sophia from the roof restaurant / bar especially at night, worth spending a little more and upgrading your room - 4th floor with a great view of the Bosphorus, room was lovely, modern & clean. wooden floors (so no dirty carpets!), clean bed linen with lavender bags on the pillows, large firm bed, brilliant air conditioning, table with 2 chairs, LCD flat screen on the wall, dressing table & dressing gowns, A very clean modern bathroom with a lovely power shower and spacious. we stayed in 2 hotels whilst in Istanbul and this was BY FAR the better of the 2, the location is a few mins walk to the hagia sophia and just round the corner are loads of bars, shops & restaurants. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The hotel is located in a side street so its a good location to get away from the busy main area, this is a very good hotel and i would have no hesitation in booking again. There is only one thing that some guests might not like and that is it backs onto a backpackers hostel, on the roof they play music at night but it didn't bother us at all, in fact it added to the atmosphere, they are just young people sitting at tables listening to music, don't let this put you off, it nearly did for us from other reviews. we walked everywhere and came across most of the hotels in Istanbul, my advise is to choose Tria Hotel

“cosy and warm ambience”
its a very quaint and cosy , warm ambience here. The staff are very helpful and ever willing to go out of their way to make your stay as confortable as possible
“The Wonderful Tria Hotel”
Wonderful staff - from the front desk to housekeeping. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Super clean. I travelled by myself and could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is located in a very convenient (close to Haya Sofia and many restaurants) part of town. For a single woman the neighborhood is safe to walk even at night. The Tria Hotel made this trip even more memorable.
