“Good value”
Our seaview room had marina view with a large balcony. We enjoyed this aspect of it very much. The bed was not very comfortable but because it was a 3 star hotel we can not complain. Unfortunately no 3 or 4 star hotels we stayed in May in Croatia had heaters at night and it is really needed. We would be happier if the room were warmer at night. The breakfast and dinner was at the adjoining 4 star hotel dining room and was very satisfactory and a great deal! We loved the fresh croissants every morning. The dinner was different every night and was rather tasty for a hotel restaurant. The only negativ was that they carried the deserts , salads from a day before to the next day. The plates from a day before was mixed with the fresh plates. If they just did not bring the left overs I think there were still plenty to eat for everyone and it would be much better. They just coul not throw it away. But it really disturbed us. The dinner addition over a bed and breakfast was at a symbolic price and even if you do not plan to eat here I still recommend the half board option just in case. We stayed 5 days there and were happy overall. In Istra the distances are not big hence no need to change the hotel if you rented a car. This hotel is in a big sport complex where there is everything from tennis to badmington to mini golf to diving. Hence for the sports minded an excellent choice.
“Hotel Palma Pula - Very Disappointing”
The Hotel Palma is so outdated the furniture is still black ash with red handles. There isnt a kettle in the room and as for the view of the garden, there is no garden that you could see from you room, only the view of the other hotel room in the next block. The hotel staffs werent very helpful and had limited information on what was going on in the area or how to get to them. To get a smile or a welcome greeting was hard work. The cleaning of my room was a bit slap dash I used a glass on the Saturday, and by the Tue it still hadnt been removed and replaced with a clean one. I ended up taking down to reception to get a fresh clean one. I had to do this every day as the cleaner just never replaced it with a new one. The breakfast was disappointing hardly any fresh fruit and the bread was mostly stale. The boiled egg I had had been boiled for so long the yoke was grey. In all, the hotel was very tired looking and is desperately in need of an update.
“Much better choices available”
The hotel was okay and staff was good. If I went to Pula again, I would stay downtown.
“the hotel doz not have aircondition, do not go back”
the food was deliciouse, but we have to go to a different hotel to eat. The hotel overall was not to bad , just missing the aircondition, it is located in a pretty area, close to everything, I will deffinately not use this hotel again, we where told at the purches of our hotel that the hotel had airconditioning. Pretty dissapointing we were expecting something better.
“Worst Hotel experience ever!”
I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. When we arrived the hotel front desk staff were not the friendliest and they certainly did not provide any information about the hotel or what things we could do. It was very hot when we were there and they do not have air conditioning at all - not even a fan! We had sea side rooms but overlooked a harbour which they may want to tell people. We were right beside another hotel that we had to eat breakfast at which was wonderful as they had air conditioning. The rooms were really dated, the beds small and not the most comfortable. I felt like I went back in time. The internet was only available in the lobby and not the fastest. I would not stay here again. We ended up finding lots to do on our own and the beaches were nice and the water really clear. No sand so I would get something to lay on. We wanted to have some drinks by the pool and ended up getting asked to leave as they were closing..it was 10pm on a Friday? I am on vacation and so was not too thrilled with that at all. Please take my advice and do not stay here as it is way overpriced for what you get....nothing really.
