“Excellent value for money”
I booked the Meadow Court Inn because it offered me the lowest rate of any hotel listed for Ithaca, NY (less than half the price of the major chain hotels), and I was delighted to find the same size room, plus microwave and fridge, in addition to a complimentary continental breakfast on weekends (Saturday through Court, is quite nice and reasonably priced, as well. It is also convenient to downtown Ithaca, a brisk walk away, with supermarkets and drugstores across the street, and department stores close by, also on foot. Why pay more?
“Large size, very clean”
My room, and bathroom were very large. The bed and oversized chair, were comfortable.
“A comfortable hotel”
The service of the hotel was good. It also provides breakfast, which is not listed on the webpage. The signal of wireless internet at my room is weak but the signal at the lounge is strong. One of the towels was very yellow. It was a little disgusting. Overall, the rate was pretty low and the service was much beyond my expectation. I had two comfortable nights there. I recommend this hotel to people who want to save money and have good service.
“Convenient place”
Across from mall on edge of town, safe area, comfortable and short drive to Cornell, reasonably priced and recently renovated. Good place!
“Ithaca Bargain”
The desk clerk was helpful but surly. We did get an upgrade as requested to the newer building. But, the attitude of the clerk who signed us in was very negative, like don't bother me. She was just starting her shift, we found out the next morning. She seemed so tired I expected she was almost finished and about to go home. The desk clerk the following day commented how nice the previous evening clerk was. It didn't seem like she could be describing the same person. The hotel was convenient to the Cornell campus. Although I was told it was fully booked, there was a vacancy when we arrived and we got the upgrade I'd requested over the phone. For the 10 hours we were there, it was more than adequate.
“Good location, good service”
During our New York State tour, we stayed one night in Ithaca. This hotel is at a great location, easy to reach from outside town, easy to get to the city center and to the Lake (by car, walking would take a little while). The service at reception was good. Free wifi, although the signal in our room was weak, so we used the wifi in the lobby. Breakfast takes place at the diner next door, charged on the same bill as hotel.
“Reasonably priced comfort”
Meadow Court Inn is a nice, comfortable motel just south of downtown Ithaca.
“Great for the $ and really nice staff!”
Although this is by no means a newer motel, it was wonderful. Most comfy beds EVER!!!! I had a horrible flight and as soon as I hit the motel door, the reception desk upgraded me to a "deluxe" room. This basically means you get a microwave and a fridge. I love the fact that their little restaurant across the drive was open, quick and the food was really good. If the looks of a motel is what you're after, don't stay here. This is a Mom and Pop kind of place that has been there a long time. It has everything you need however and the staff is wonderful.
“Review”
Staff was very nice and the room was spacious and clean with a microwave and refrigerator.
“The basics!”
Plain vanilla. No frills. Quiet enough. Clean enough. And the added bonus of some retro white rattan furniture enabled us to pretend we were in an Elmore Leonard novel!
