All the staff were so friendly and helpful. They were always cheerful and ready to make our stay as pleasant for us as possible. Loved the bar tender too. She is great!!! Defiantly will make this my place to stay in Jacksonville. Recommend to everyone.

Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Short stay but front desk manager was extremely unfazed and accomodating. I didn't like the shuttle pick up experience at 2 am. They asked me to wait in area 6 for the shuttle. The shuttle instead stopped at area 5 to help some male pilots who were standing there smoking. I'm glad I had the presence of mind to walk over there and confirm it was the ALOFT shuttle. His explanation? He didn't want to leave those guys standing there. Right. Wouldn't do to have those poor guys inconvenienced. I'm just a disabled black female alone in the dark at 2 am waiting in the designated area for shuttle pick up. Aside from that all good.

Had issues with water damage on the flooring in the bathroom - glue down vinyl was coming up. Called the front desk to have them come up to take a look at the flooring, no one came up. After coming back into the hotel after going to dinner hours after this, Katelyn (spelling) was very lovely and informed me no one was able to come up but many rooms are having this issue. I also find problem with the vessel sink in the vanity area - looks good but very impractical since it causes water splashing and mess.

Advised the staff that the safe was not operational. A tech came and removed a spring, stating it would be fixed the next day. 7 days later, still not fixed. Breakfasts are available for pay only. Considering the cost, and that competitors offer free breakfast, I wouldn't suggest staying here if you like breakfast.

Okay for a quick stay
Great location near the airport, restaurants, and shopping. Like most airport hotels it is worn down. Our bathroom door didn't close, the blinds wouldn't open, the air conditioner was super loud and falling off the wall, and the toilet didn't function well.

Worst possible check in experience. We spent a night here on our way to another destination. In addition to not having room type or bad type we booked (that was showing available on Expedia) receptionist made things worse with her comment - what did you expect to get at 10pm She was rude and unprofessional from start to finish

I loved the walk in shower but the bed was not comfortable plus pillows were way too soft and lacked stuffing. There was only two bath towels and two wash cloths not enough for two people. Also prices were really steep for the snack area. Staff was awesome and very friendly!

We stayed for the holidays due to staying here a few years back for our wedding. The hotel hasn't been updated since. Elevator buttons loose, stains, bathroom sliding door track was not secured causing my son to cut his finger, mattress itself was in poor looking condition but comfortable, no trash bags, $4 muffins, etc. Staff was trained to be courteous but no authenticity. Basically, disappointed with our stay and won't be back - the hotel just needs to be repaired instead of bandaids on the issues.
