“Not too shabby”

Although the exterior could have used some sprucing up, this is a great inexpensive hotel in Joplin. The bed was nice and comfy and the room was spacious and accommodating in every way. Having a microwave and a fridge are nice ammenities. Although wireless internet is offered, I could not get it to work from the room.

The hotel was doing a lot of renovation, so the outside of the hotel was a little run down looking but the rooms were very clean and updated.

“They fixed their glitch without much trouble”

Even though they had lost my reservation when I arrived at the hotel, by the time I checked out, the glitch had been fixed and checkout was easy. The room was spotless and smelled good, the towels were clean, and the amenities were sufficient. The clerks are friendly and helpful.

The room was clean enough but other than that disappointing. The towels were nothing more than tattered rags, the internet connection didn't work and the pillows were lumpy. The tv worked but the hotel didn't provide a channel line-up. They are using flourescent bulbs which is energy conserving but the room was dark even with all the lights on.

Thermostat on heater did not work -- you either burned up or had to turn it off and freeze. Non-smoking rooms had ash trays in them (3 of them observed).

It took too long to check in, I had to wait approx. 30 minutes to check in. The person that took the order from expedia did not follow up and hold the rooms I requested. I receieved the only rooms available instead of the rooms I requested. The rooms were downgraded from the rooms I requested. We had to repeatedly ask for towels and the keys had to be reprogramed twice. There was a leak in the bathtub drain that affected the room below us. The rooms were clean but overall I was not impressed with the customer service I received.

“WARNING! AVOID AT ALL COST”

The hotel was overpriced, the room smell muggy and damped, shower was dirty, towel hanger was broken, there weren't enough towels. We stayed two nights they didn't clean the room or resupplied after our first night, we had to called to get our supplies and clean the room, the manager sounded unwilling to provide the service because there weren't enough people to...I can go on but I getting frustrated thinking about this hotel...To all of future guesses, please do not book this hotel

“Avoid this place”

Was closed for bering bad, reopened under new management and it is worse. No TV, internet is wireless but signal is so bad that is impossible to use it. I was in the room 3 days and no maid ever came to make the bed or anything. They give 2 tiny pieces of soap and that was it. the room "smells".
