“was a pleasure, can't wait until next time.”
We found the Marriott a very pleasant experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful and funny. They treated us like family and they were very nice to our dachshund. when we plan our next trip we will be very willing to book our room again at the Marriott.

It was a nice place the only thing I can even come up with is the hot and cold are backwards in the tub/shower. Once you figure that out its ok.

Hotel is easy to find just off interstate. Fold out sofa bed not very comfortable. Bath door and vanity to close together The best value we have found in Joplin. Beds are great. Outside fire place a nice touch
“Townplace Suites Joplin, MO”
Good hotel. Beds not as comfortable compared to most other hotels I've stayed with. Townplace could take a page out of Marriott's book and upgrade bed quality/comfort.
“Clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced”
The air conditioner unit at my home had quit working, and the repairman could not come until the next day. So I decided to stay overnight at a hotel in my hometown of Joplin, MO. A friend from out of town had stayed a few weeks back at the Towne Place Suites Marriot, and had been very pleased. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced.
“One night stay at hotel”
This hotel is a well maintained and was a good choice for us for an overnight stay in Joplin. It is frequented by longer term stay guests, so, we had a refrigerator, stove, and microwave in our room. Beds were comfortable and the hotel accommodated a request for a room on an upper floor away from the elevator.
“Nice and Quiet”
I would have given comfort of the room a higher rating, but the mattress was not very comfortable. It may be the difference between sleeping on a tempurpedic at home and the hotel mattress being very firm. The staff was kind. The location is good and easy to get to. I did not have any complaints to register to the staff but felt if I did they would have done their best to address them.
