“I would recommend it and a Perkins rest.across the lot!”

This was a nice hotel for the money and I was lucky enough to get a room next to the indoor pool and jacuzzi which I made good use of. There was a decent breakfast available every morning and a Perkins restaurant across the parking lot.I was pleasantly surprised by this choice.The staff was exceedingly nice and helpful to someone so far from home!

Difficult to get into parking lot. I felt I was driving on other's property to get there. NO Elevator. Everything else excellent. For this type of motel I was especially impressed with their free breakfast.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable comfort. Bring your bathing suit and enjoy the indoor pool!

“just okay, and smelled of smoke”

This is one of those hotels that claims to have non-smoking rooms, but hasn't done anything to discourage people from smoking in them. If you have an aversion to the smell of cigaret smoke, it's quite gross. On our way to our room, we could smell smoke in the non-smoking hallway, only to discover that the room next to ours had the non-smoking label removed. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke, especially when the heater ran, and there were 2 (clean) ashtrays in the room. Ironically enough, there was a box of Nicoret in one of the drawers, which was a dangerous medication if either of our small children had found it first. Aside from smelling of smoke and leaving a dangerous medication in our children's reach, it was a nice motel.

“Nothing Fancy.....but good value for the price”

There was nothing too special about the hotel, but the rooms were clean and well-maintained. This is not in the heart of Lees Summit, so you do have to travel up an exit or two to get to most of the shopping and restaurants that are nearby. The indoor pool is open late, which might cause a little extra noise if you are staying nearby on the ground floor.

“Started Out A Little Rocky”

We were given a room in which the air conditioning didn't work, it was cooler in the hallway than in our room, and with the temp being 104 outside, a/c was high on the priority list. The only other room they had available was on the second floor and we had requested a room on the first floor due to my dad's medical conditions. We decided to take the 2nd floor room though, and the air worked great and we were all happy, except for the stairs!

“A hidden treasure, clean, quiet and accomodating.”

This hotel is a hidden treasure. The staff was accomodating and the Continental breakfast was very good. We were there visiting grandchildren who stayed with us and they were very expressive especially about breakfast.
