“I Never Showed UP!”
Unfortunately I was deathly sick that weekend and never made it to Kansas City and had to forfeit my reservation. I've stayed here before. It's a very nice place.

Great experience for the price! So happy with location! Nice staff at check in! Super hard mattress, though!
“Our home in Kansas City”

But tying to find an ooperating ice machine proved a challenge. Only one in the hotel was working. But otherwise, it's a clean place with a nice staff. Good selections for the free breakfast each day. If you are doing business downtown, this is a great location. Easy parking, not too far from good eats (although you'll need to drive for most). I'd stay there again.
“Power and Light”
This hotel is just down the road from Crown Center shopping and, our reason for choosing, the Power and Light District. Very few hotels advertise this as a place of interest, but the Fairfield was a great location. Not walkable, but cheap cab-able :) (I think there are walkable, true downtown, hotels, but those weren't in our price range.) The Fairfield was a great value for the money and location. Especially clean and friendly and a great breakfast.

Our stay was short but sweet, the staff eagerly awaited our arrival, and greeted us promptly. Our room was very nice and clean, everything worked well. Very close to downtown and many very nice restaurants. Not much else left to say, but we'll be back next time we stay in K.C.
“Great place to stay!”
The rate was reasonable. The location was excellent. The room was very comfortable. my only complaint is that the exercice room was very inadequate. No big deal though. i will definitely stay there again.
“Very pleased with our experience”
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is attentive and friendly. The complementary breakfast had a good selection, and I was extremely pleased that they did not take down the breakfast items early. Too many hotels I've been too begin to remove items 10-15 minutes before the close of breakfast. This hotel restocked items until 10-15 minutes after the "official" close of breakfast, this was terrific service.
