Located in Kansas City, the Holiday Inn CoCo Key Sports Complex offers walkway access to the Truman Sports Complex, home to Royals baseball and Chiefs football. The hotel features an outdoor pool. The spacious, secure fitness center, restricted to those over 18, includes two treadmills, two stationary bicycles, two stair machines, and free weights. The first-floor business center has three computer stations with complimentary high-speed Internet access and printers. This Missouri hotel offers the 55,000-square-foot CoCo Key Water Resort, an indoor waterpark (surcharge). It features body slides, tube slides, a two-person raft slide, an adventure river, and an indoor and outdoor spa tub. It also has an interactive play island with a 300-gallon tipping bucket and a shallow pool theater that constantly plays movies or cartoons.
The business center/lounge, offers computers, complimentary high-speed Internet access, a printer, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, and gathering areas. Food service is available from the Tradewinds restaurant. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided and weekday newspapers are provided.
Rooms
The 15-story Holiday Inn CoCo Key Sports Complex features 369 guestrooms. Rooms facing south or west have views into Kauffman Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium.
All rooms offer complimentary wireless Internet access and activity desks with power outlets. 32-inch flat-screen TVs offer cable and pay movies, and leather chairs with ottomans are featured. Beds feature custom-designed, extra-thick, plush-top mattress dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, plump duvet in rich colors, and five goose down/feather pillows.
Shower/tub combinations have curved shower rods for extra room.

“A Great Fun place to come too,”
This iis our 2nd trip here. It a great place to stay. The shuttle drops you off and picks you up from the Arrowhead and Royals Stadium. We have a great time at the bar. The Waiter Robert is the best. We can't wait to come back!
“Bus ride”
The only complaint I might have is that I really like being shuttled to game but it would be nice if there were 2 buses taking guests so as to not have people waiting so long to go and come back. The ride is wonderful but takes a while to get back and forth due to being busy. Thank you.
“Close to Kauffman stadium”
Staff was friendly, letting us check in a few minutes early since we had small kids who were tired. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Pool was nice. Really a good hotel for small kids.
“Great Room for a Great Price!”
We booked our room about a week before this trip, and got in on an Expedia 1/2 price special. The room was great, within walking distance of the Cheif's Stadium. It was easy to get find, and staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will most likely stay there again.
“Excellent stay”
We encountered lots of trouble with hotels around the sports complex in the past. This hotel was pleasant and trouble-free.
“No water park passes included if you book through Expedia but park and facilities excellent”
Water park passes were not included with room when you book through Expedia as they are if you book directly with the hotel, even though the Expedia rep assured me multiple times they do. So we had $15/ticket expense we were not expecting and six of us were going to the park. That's $90 taken directly from our entertainment funds that could not be used to feed the four kids we took for a birthday outing. Hotel is clean and well-maintained, you can see fireworks from south and west facing rooms when the KC Royals play home games at The K on Friday nights and there is a 24-hour restaurant (national chain) very close by.
“Great place to stay when attending events for Chiefs or Royals!!”
They have a shuttle that will take you over to the stadium and bring you back, although it's quicker to walk back to hotel due to all the traffic leaving the stadium. It's definitely within walking distance, about 1/2 mile. Hotel outdoor pool was Ice Cold but nice. Their indoor pool was big and private, due to the waterpark being attatched we had the indoor pool totally to ourselves for 2 hours. Nice fitness room with TV's built into all the equipment and if you forgot headphones they will give you a free pair at the desk. Rooms were nice, as usual for hotels the shower was built for people less than 5' tall,, never understood why almost all hotel showers are so short!! All in all great value and would definitely stay there again.
“This was one of the best hotels for the money I have ever been in.”
It was clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. I especially loved the central air. I hate those little cooler boxed most hotels have.

This hotel had the friendliest staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at.
“Great for baseball fans!!”
The entire hotel has been remodeled. It was absolutely wonder. Great for walking to the ballpark and there is a park for grilling about a mile down a side street from the hotel. The pool was wonderful. Everything was very clean, new and fresh.
