“Great Vibe-Recommended”
staff was extremely friendly; hotel was clean, charming and in a great location-had a very cool vibe...plus it was very close to the Midland Theatre, being situated in the heart of the Power & Light District (was visiting KC for a concert that was being held at said venue) ...definitely recommended; would stay again
“Beyond excellent customer service.”
The Valets were amazing!!! Mr. Marcus went above and beyond his job discription to make our stay amazing!!!
“Very good”
All of the staff we met were very nice. We liked the character that the hotel had, not generic like many hotels. I'm sure we will stay there again in the future.
“Will Definitely Use Hotel Phillips again!”
This is a beautiful old hotel that provides exemplary service. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite upon check-in and the room was spotless, roomy, and very comfortable. I would stay here again.
“Great stay at a classic hotel”
Very enjoyable stay in a classic downtown KC landmark, close to numerous attractions and good value for the money in downtown. Only complaint would be the cost of valet parking, but it's the norm for the area.
“Beustiful Art Deco Hotel”

“Would stay again”
Good hotel...less than 2 blocks from the Power & Light District. Walked to the marketplace for breakfast each morning...nice grocery type store with a seating area to eat. Reminds me of a Whole Foods market, but it's not organic.
“Very Charming Hotel”
This hotel was somewhat smaller than I imagined but it's charm and character more than made up for it. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and well kept. Upon arrival we learned that we had been upgraded to a larger room. The wall paper and paint in our room appeared to be new as was the bedding. The hotel bar had a wide variety of drinks and happy hour ran from 2-7pm. The location is within walking distance from the Power and Light District as well as the Sprint Center. The only negatives about this hotel is there are no refridgerators in the rooms and there are ice machines only on certain floors. Also, there is no on-site parking. There is an underground parking garage across the street which we used that was very convienent however we ended up spending about $30 for one night of parking. Reguardless, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.
“A piece of downtown KC history”
Looking forward to the rest of the Phillips' renovations but definitely will plan to stay there again in the future. Clean, quiet, comfortable room.
“Nice Hotel”
A beautiful hotel in a great area of KC
