“Great hotel in a great town”
I very much enjoyed staying here. The single room I stayed in was of decent size, including a mini-bar but without tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom had a shower, bidet, basin and toilet. It all was in a very good condition and clean. Breakfast was also very good with a nice selection of warm and cold food, etc. Hotel reception has been very helpful and patient with all my questions. They did, however, fail to get good price for car rental, which we eventually got for a third of their price somewhere else. I've also used some of the spa facilities, such as the masseuse and bubble bath (additional cost). They also have a swimming pool, bubble bath and sauna/steam room upstairs which you pay for extra. The only annoying thing in my room was the fact that one of the light switches was "built" into the bed, meaning that often when I turned around in my sleep, I'd hit the switch and all the lights would be on. The average age in the town is quite high. If you have a car there, be careful where you park. The local residents seem to be quick in calling the police to clamp your car - talking from experience.
“Very nice”
The hotel itself is in a great location, close to all the main attractions of Karlovy Vary . It's very clean and well maintained and tastefully decorated. The top floor spa is a nice treat and well worth the time to enjoy. We found the staff to be very pleasant and quite helpfull. The daily breakfast was well done with lots of variety, which makes a great start to the day.
“Excellent Hotel”
We had a great time staying at this hotel! It was comfortable, elegant, spacious and simply gorgeous! Pool and sauna are great. Excellent breakfast that changes every morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Good locating within walking distance to everything. Will defiantly stay there again.
“Everything is perfect”
We spent a lovely 2 weeks in this hotel. Generous breakfast was a good start for the day. We tried lunch and dinner as well and it was delicious. All facilities are brand new. Staff are nice, friendly and very helpful. For an additional cost we’ve got luxury spa treatments (especially a massage), which were much better than in public spa Centres called Lazne. The hotel location to the mineral springs is excellent and easy to reach on foot. The holiday was a wonderful escape from the big city stresses of living. We are planning to stay in this hotel next year.
“Beautiful hotel”
Nice location, clean, just perfect service. Pool is a little bit overpriced. I would advise using open air Thermal Pool above Hotel Thermal - only five minutes walking from Humboldt Park. Except this, everythin is ok - good 4 star hotel
“the 4th star of this hotel was a Xmas decoration!!”
We had an overall nice stay in the town of Karlovi Vari but the hotel staff was very rude and careless, they treat you like if they are doing you a massive favor, nobody speaks english and they get angry with you if you ask more clarifications. They smoke everywhere in the hotel, there is no respect for a non smoker. You open your room in the morning and you are welcomed by cloud of smoke. The spa is well below avarage and the lady at the spa reception has got comunist rules and raises her finger and tells you off if you open a window or move a chair for example. The breakfast is well below average for a 4* hotel.
“I hope the lift is working now”
New and nice Hotel the staff are friendly and efficient the room was large and comfortable. The 2nd day of our stay the only lift broke down three days on still not fixed. Having to climb up and down 4 floors everyday afew times a day for 3 days was like a torture. By the time we left the lift was still out of order maybe it is concidered normal in Czech BUT IT IS A 4 STAR HOTEL. 14.00 GBP a day car park fee they charged was a bit over the top.
