Palms Restaurant - This restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and regional cuisine. Open for buffet or à la carte breakfast and dinner, with indoor and outdoor dining available. Guests are invited to experience the local culture at Ali`i Lani the weekly dinner show (subject to charges).
Kahanu Bar and Grill - Open-air dining is available poolside, with sandwiches, snacks, and beverages served. Open from late morning until sunset.

“Great value and location”
My husband and I stayed for 6 days in September and were pleasantly suprised by this hotel for it's star rating. The property is a bit run-down but the bedrooms are large and the hotel is in an excellent location overlooking Lydgate beach park with excellent sheltered swimming and snorkelling. It is at approximately mid-way point of the road around the island and close to some excellent restaurants. The hotel restaurant is also reasonable with very good food.
“Comfortable and scenic”
Nice place to stay near the ocean. Very attractive landscaping.
“The location is perfect”
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. What we weren't aware of was that by booking it through expedia when we did, the hotel would not include amenities. This means that my wife and I couldn't get their free selection of DVDs or our morning coffee. But, we had a comfortable stay with clean towels daily. The beachfront was nice and the pool was relaxing in the evenings when we were tired of the salt water.
“Great hotel”
The architecture of this hotel and of the railway station of Kyoto, Japan is breath taking. Already this is a good reason to choose this hotel. And you are right in the center of the city. The service is great too!
“Great for families; can't beat the price!”
We stayed at the Aloha Beach Hotel on Feb. 10-13, 2009. We traveled with our children, 5 year-old and 20 months. The location couldn't have been better! Right on the beach, right next to a nice park for the kids to play. The tide pool area was perfect for the kids as the water was calm. We were perfectly happy staying at the hotel/beach the whole time. The was adequate for us, we had two queen beds and staff brought extra pillows and towels. Coffee maker worked fine and the refrigerator was great. Local calls cost $ so bring your cell phone. We saved money by going to Costco for drinks and snack foods, made sandwiches for breakfast/lunch and ate fantastic dinners at local restaurants. Highly recommend Duke's Canoe Club ($30/ea dinner). We loved our stay here and will definitely stay here again!!
“I will defintely return!”
I was a first time Kaui'i visitor travelling alone. I was extremely pleased with the condition of the hotel, the service and the price. The hotel staff was very knowledgable and helpful. They really made me feel comfortable and at home. This hotel exudes the spirit of Aloha. It is a great place for families, young couples or singles. The location is really convenient to almost everything. The little town of Kapa'a has all of the anemities you might need (restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping, sports, etc.). An added plus is that it is only 15 minutes from the airport so you don't have to waste too much of your time in transportation. Additionally, the hotel is located on one of the most "swimable" beaches on Kaui'i. The outdoor pool is small but nice! I had an ocean facing room with a beautiful view. Did I say the staff was great???I will most definetly return soon! Cannot wait!!!

“Fantastic place - great stay”
Aloha Beach is located just above the Lydgate Beach Park, one of the best and safest beaches on the island. This is a safe beach for the children and popular with locals who are very nice and accepting of tourists. It is also on the eastern side of the island and magnificent place for watching sunrises. The central location provides easy access to both south and north shores. The hotel has been updated with renovated rooms, comfortable beds, blackout window treatments and granite countertops in the bathrooms. Additional updates are mosaic tile lining both pools and spa, and a very stylish and airy reception area with free Internet access. The staff is courteous and kind. The quality of housekeeping is very good. The hotel participates in the program to save water and energy. The beds were made and room clean and good-looking on a daily basis. Rooms have new doors; no noise from the neighbors during our stay. This is an older resort and there could be additional updates made but they are purely esthetic and nothing that would concern the comfort of your stay. Another very nice feature that comes with age is mature landscaping with big Plumeria trees that were shedding its blooms that occasionally fall into the pools. Parking is free. There is a little fridge in each room - perfect for chilling your drinks or storing small quantities food. We had one breakfast at the hotel and it was poor. The hotel does not provide hair conditioner. Wall mounted hairdryer in the bathroom.
“Very Nice Hotel”
While this is an older hotel I found everything to be clean and comfortable.
“Kauai vacation”
We had a nice stay at the Aloha Beach Hotel. Service was good, and the room was very comfortable. Very accessible to our vacation needs. Liked being so close to Lygate Park and the beach.
