“I will stay here when I go to Kauai in the future.”
I have great time in this trip and the hotel stay is excellent.
“lovely!”
The staff was extreemly friendly and helpful! thank you!
“A truly beautiful place”
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.
“Nice accomodations.”
The pool is very nice with rocks and a waterfall; bigger than average. The view of the mountains nice. It is located in beautiful Princeville. The rooms were clean but there are some parts of the complex in repair. It has an apartment complex feel as do most of the lodgings in Princeville with a much nicer pool than most. There are no onsite restaurants or fitness but great running paths on the golfcourse around the corner. The rooms were clean and it is priced below other facilities. I read a lot of negative online reviews but had stayed at the property 2 years before and was happy with it and will go back again.
“Good for the money”
The hotel was under construction due to a fire. Our room location required us to walk by the trash and maintenance building. We also had to walk four flights of stairs to get to our room. The landscaping and surrounding area is beautiful. I would have been disappointed with the hotel had I paid a steep price. However, I purchased it on a pre-paid package including a rental car for a very reasonable price for Hawaii. I would recommend the hotel so long as you do not overpay.
“A fun stay, great pool and grounds.”
The studio with the sofabed was uncomfortable even for a sofabed. The adjoining door to the next room was not sound proof, you can hear your neighbor talking through the door. Despite those two problems the North shore location is great, the kitchen had everything you need, the pool and grounds are tropical and scenic. It is a long walk to the beach on a steep paved walkway but they offer a shuttle cart to and from the beach. The beach is great for snorkling and has a sandy shore. Do'nt be one of the many tourist who walk out onto the coral reefs, the reefs are living organisms, it looks like rock but it's not. I noticed too many people were doing this.
“Very Good All Around”
I was skeptical at first when booking , because of price , but was very satisfied with the surroundings , staff , and quality of my entire experience . I would stay again in a heartbeat !
“Would definitely stay here again”
I loved it here. It's exactly the kind of place I want to stay at when I come to Hawaii. Beautiful, low key and very comfy. I went paddleboarding one day and the instructor said I was staying at the best place on the island. The restaurant and lounge weren't open when I was there. But,the staff told me that someone just bought them and they would be opening soon. That was honestly, the only thing that was lacking here. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The have a great little fitness center (could use a few more machines) and offer yoga and some other fitness classes. I had friends that were staying at The Westin up the street and even they liked my place better. It just depends on what you're looking for. I didn't want a boujie, corporate atmosphere. I got a nice, little paradise.
“can't wait to go back”
The hotel was very nice, the only thing that i didn't really like was that we paid for maid service and she only came one time (we were there for a week). other than that...great! LOVED the pool/jacuzi!
“Hanalei Bay Resort”
It was a great place, beautiful, great pool and hot tub. I loved it. Would have liked a more comfortable bed other than that splendid.
