“Great for the money”
While you won't get any ocean views or high end perks here, this is a solid hotel if you're looking to stay relatively cheap. The room was clean and pretty updated (unlike many inexpensive hotels which look like they're straight out of the 70's). The kitchen helped in cutting meal expenses and there are a couple outdoor grills you can use. The pool area and jacuzzi while small were clean. There is a small beach a couple minutes walk from the hotel which was pretty vacant but nice. The hotel is located on the middle of the east coast close to a supermarket and restaraunts etc. I had read about bug problems in some past reviews and while I did have a couple bugs in my room I doubt it was anything out of the ordinary for such a warm climate. There was only one person working the check-in desk and even then the desk was empty at times. All in all the pros outweighed the cons, Id stay here again without question.
“excellent value for the money”
About the only thing that this hotel is missing is restaurant and SPA (it has basic pool, nothing fancy) services that comes standard with other pricier hotels... but then again, they are pricier and you get to pay for it one way or another.
“If I go back I would stay there again”
The hotel was very nice and it didn't feel like a hotel. To me it was a one bedroom apartment.Lots of room.
“Still Great Value after 10 years!”
Hotel is well-located on the eastern side so the longest we had to drive was about 2 hrs to get anywhere. Suite was huge and, although the wicker furniture was well-used, clean. Easy access to excellent restaurants and supermarkets. We found no evidence of bedbugs or cockroaches (2 tiny geckos however which we treated as pets). Tip: remember to open the louvered windows to get the sea breeze!
“missing Hawaii already”
great family value
“Would stay here again”
Nothing fancy, just somewhere to stay that has a kitchenette. If you are planning on heading north and south often this is perfect, it is in the middle of both.
“We enjoyed the location”
The room was clean and spacious. We had courteous service. The activity desk director was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Best western Plantaion Hale Condo.
“Helpfull Staff.”
Letting us check in 7 hours early was a wonderful thing. Nice and quiet. Not a hopping resort area, but great for us. The wife loved the sunrises.
“Great stay”
The Hotel location ist great. Supermarket and Shopping Mall within walking distance. As the beaches on the east shore are not the nicest ones, is good to have a car. Within 45 Minutes you can drive to the south or northshore. The Hotel is not the newest one, but everything was very clean and also the kitchen was nice and clean. Nice bluray and Flat TV, and also DVD rental at frontdesk. We had a great stay and would come back.
“Home Away From Home”
The amenities and spaciousness of the rooms here are excellent, and the location on the island is perfect to adventuring in either direction! The rooms are equivalent to a 1 bedroom apartment and the kitchen was definitely a bonus helping to save money throughout our trip. Heading north on 56 there is a grocery store just a few blocks away and heading south there's a Walmart about 10 mins away. The beach just across the way is beautiful. I can't recommend this place enough for overall value!
