Property Amenities
The newly renovated Sheraton Kauai Resort offers three tennis courts, a fitness center, and a massage/facial center. The property offers daily activities for guests of all ages, including yoga, pool activities, and a ping pong table. A resort charge added to room charges covers amenities such as a torch-lighting ceremony with Hawaiian music.
Guests have access to four computers with Internet access in the guest news library. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the property.
Free parking during stay; valet parking is also available (surcharge).
Rooms
The Sheraton Kauai offers 394 newly renovated guestrooms. The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed features custom-designed, extra-thick, plush-top mattress dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, plump duvet in rich colors, and five goose down/feather pillows.
Furnished lanais have ocean or garden views. Amenities include refrigerators, bathrobes, 32-inch televisions, video games, and in-room safes. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.

Lava's Poipu Beach - Magnificent oceanfront views of Poipu Beach and the famous First Break Surf Spot. A perfect setting to relax, and enjoy grilled selections and refreshing specialty drinks. Stunning sunsets and tropical breezes, refreshing cocktails and delectable cuisine. Open from 10:30 AM to 5 PM.
Rumfire - Hawaiian cuisine with global influences and 180 degrees of views of the Pacific Ocean. The chef prepares distinctive cuisine with local island flair. With its menu selections, Rumfire’s cuisine will certainly satisfy the palates of all food lovers. The restaurant is open for breakfast buffet from 6:30 AM to 11 AM and for dinner between 5 PM and 9:30 PM.
The Link Cafe - Located in lobby, serves Starbucks coffee, grab and go breakfast and snack. The cafè is open from 6.30 AM to 11 AM.
Room service is available between 5 PM and 10 PM.
Recreation
Sheraton Kauai Resort features a newly renovated, outdoor swimming pool, children's pool and three tennis courts (two lighted). Kiahuna Golf Course is a five-minute drive away, and the Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course is 10 minutes away. Golf reservations, and reservations for all other activities available on Kauai, can be made at the concierge desk in the lobby.

“Great place”
The new Rum Fire addition was almost finished and it looks amazing. Our maid service was slightly sporadic, but not distractingly so. The happy hour on the beach was nice and the sand, water, pool and grounds were superb. it was certainly family friendly and we had a great time!
“Wonderful Hotel.”
This hotel was Amazing! With high expectations of being on our honeymoon they exceeded even that. We upgraded to an ocean front room and it was worth every penny. Ocean is a matter of feet from the room. Our room was right above the pool but with door shut couldn't hear a thing, so we could be on the patio enjoying an amazing view or have peace and quiet watching tv. The beach was beautiful and not really crowded with plenty room for everyone. The Staff is very helpful and very very friendly. The hotel concierge booked all of our tours and had some great recommendations and was even able to book a round of golf for me for the next day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Thank you to the Sheraton staff for a wonderful time.
“The Sheraton is a must!!”
This really was a pleasant surprise. The friendliness of the staff, the fabulous restaurant made our few ere a pleasure. I wish I had had longer there.
“Staying at the Kaloa Sheraton for my 50th b-day.”
Celebrating my 50th birthday my husband and I stayed in a full ocean view room. The bathroom had a roll in shower and bars by the toilet which helped my husband greatly! We enjoyed sitting by the beach and there were chairs with arms for my husband, who is unable to sit on lounge chairs. Eating at the Rum Fire restaurant was a wonderful experience. The Easter brunch was outstanding and the views of the ocean were absolutely beautiful! The staff went above and beyond to help us with my husband's disability. We will definitely stay here again!
“Best Place on Kauai”
I loved this place. When I go back, I will stay here the whole time. The staff was great. The place was clean, well maintained, and beautifully landscaped. I had an ocean view room and could have thrown a football into the surf from my lanai. We watched the most awesome sunsets from our bed. Love, Love, Love this place. The location is great with plenty of shopping and eating choices in the area. I have to admit that Puka Dogs was probably my favorite and then the snack shack at Sueokas in Koloaa Town.
“An awesome Hawaiian vacation”
The hotel is beautiful and epitomizes the true "Hawaiian experience". Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel were friendly and helpful going out of their way to accomodate. The food at The Lava was a delight to the tastebuds.
“great hotel not so good Lava waitstaff”
All of the hotel staff was friendly & helpful. The only beef we had was the waitstaff at Lava's... We ate there twice, the service the first time was great except it took forever to get the bill when we were done. They were not busy either.... it was after 9:30pm. The second time we went it was at 9pm again and the hostess told us to seat ourselves and we sat near the bar where the servers pick up drinks and we sat there for at least 10-15 minutes before anyone even spoke to us! The staff was all around us too! very disappointing.
“Would definately go back”
The hotel was beautiful. We had a gorgous room overlooking the ocean and pool. Great location and very friendly service. My only complaint is the food was way over priced at the hotel restraunts. That is except for the prime-rib dish at the point which was $20 and tasted great. For breakfast, walk to the little mall and eat at the tropical burger place or somewhere else.
“Great experience”
We stayed here on our Honeymoon, along with another hotel on the Big Island. We definitely liked this hotel better. Everything went smoothly, we enjoyed the breakfast, beaches and layout of the hotel grounds. We also enjoyed the internet computers in their news library. The bathroom was spatious with double sinks and closets that opened in both the bedroom and sink area. It was quiet while we stayed there. We didn't see many families, which made it feel a little more romantic.
