Presentation: Guests must complete the timeshare tour and sales presentation lasting approximately 90 minutes in order to receive this special offer or they will be charged the full rack rate for their accommodations and will not receive the Gift. Children under 12 years of age are expected to be entrusted to a child care facility during the tour presentation, where such facility is available; if a facility is not available, any disruption of the tour presentation by children will disqualify the guests from completing the tour.

Room Reservations: Accommodations are for the number of nights specified in the package details only. Room reservations based on availability. Accommodations are three-bedroom accommodations and are for a maximum of two adults and four children under the age of 18. After scheduling room reservations, a confirmed, written reservation will be sent and must be presented at check-in. Purchase price must be paid using a major credit card. Reschedule request must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival or will result in a $50 rescheduling fee, provided that there is availability. If no availability, guests must keep the original reservation or will forfeit the package and package price.

Property Amenities
Situated among the natural contours of its hillside-and-bluff site, the 215-suite resort in Koloa, Hawaii comprises 10 two-and-three-story buildings. The terraced hillside features a tropical garden with koi ponds, a waterfall, and a lagoon pool. A fitness center offers water aerobics and volleyball; lei-making and hula classes; snorkel, scuba, kayak, and ukulele lessons; and Hawaiian-language and crafts instructions.
Rooms
Spacious enough to be condominiums, the 219 suites are decorated island-style. Each suite has a full kitchen with lots of counter space; a washer/dryer; two phones; a carpeted living room next to a tiled dining area; a barefoot-friendly carpeted patio or balcony; and a master bath with deep soaking tub, roomy stall shower, and twin sinks. In the seating area, an entertainment center contains a large TV with cable, pay movies, CD player, and a video game console. Bedrooms are air conditioned, while ceiling fans cool all other rooms.

“Beautiful accommodations”
Absolutely loved these accommodations. The location was perfect. Just skip the timeshare presentation unless you think you really are interested.
“We loved the Point at Poipu”
My wife and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law and their children (3 and a half and 9 months) spent a marvelous two weeks at the Point at Point. The staff and amenities are perfect for a family with small children. Despite the up and down weather (it wasn't as bad as the media reported) my grandson and I were in the pool and hot tub every day. His routine also included feeding the koi every morning after breakfast. The activities were simply excellent thanks to the two wonderful ladies (Pua and Marah) that organized and coordinated the variety of daily activities (face painting, photo frame making, talapia fishing, etc.) Our first week was in 8-306 overlooking the pool. Perfect even though it is "Garden View". Week two was in 1-203 a "Partial Ocean View" with a great wrap-around deck. Excellent, but maybe not worth the extra $$? We are NOT Diamond owners but did attend the presentation. We chose NOT to purchase so our review has no bias in favour or opposed to the Diamond Hotel chain.
“Whales and Coffee”
This was the perfect hotel for a family vacation. My kids loved the pool and suite. The front desk gave them food to feed the koi everyday. The children were so sad to leave. My husband and I watched the sunrise from the cliffs along the ocean every morning. We saw humpback whales while drinking coffee. It is an easy walk to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. The campus was a perfect match for our family. The grounds and room were beautiful, but it felt relaxed and natural.
“Best Family Hotel I've ever seen”
I usually don't waste my time writing review, but we have been so amazed by this hotel that I just want to say that if you are with kids, this hotel is just perfect. Rooms are actually apartments because they are huge: 2 large bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, huge leaving room with sofa bed, wide kitchen fully equipped (including washing machine and dryer!!), and they provide trash bags, dishwasher powder, etc. Plus, room service every day, with linen changed every two days. Outside: bbqs, jacuzzis in front of the rooms, so that you can have kids sleeping while enjoying your dinner outside. In between two great beaches at walking distance, especially the Poipu beach which is just perfect for kids (including a playground on the grass behind the beach). Baby crib free. The staff was really nice and helpful. Kauai is a wondderful island, and Point at Poipu is simply the best place we have been with our family.

“very convenient for families, the pool was great !”
We went with our 3 boys (2, 4 and 6 years old). We found the hotel very convenient for families, the rooms were spacious, the children loved the pool and the parents could even have a cocktail (with alcool) in the bar. The location is very good for visiting the island, but you need a car in Kawai.
“Quite nice”
Location and room/amenities are great. Pool is quite good and grounds quite nice. Couple minor things: doors can use some new paint and PLEASE, put a bigger salter in the room! Bathroom was awesome :)
“Great time at the Point”
This is a very nice place to stay with a family. There were five in our group (2 teenagers and a preteen). There was plenty of room in the two bedroom two bath condo. We had a garden view room on the first floor. The garden view is lovely and being able to walk out the sliding glass door to the garden and down to the pool was very nice. We BBQ'd in the garden area almost every night. Having a washer/ dryer is a huge plus when traveling with kids. The pool is shallow but still fun and very large. We avoided the timeshare sales pitch during checkin. After that they only left on message to see if we had changed our minds. That's not too bad.
“WONDERFUL!”
Great vacation in Poipu area! Loved The POINT, a very nice property. Pool and grounds beautiful, room very very nice. The only down part is the beach is several hundred yards away, but not every hotel can be built on the beach. However, there is a rocky cove with a large family of sea turtles that we spent hours watching, amazing! Highly recommend this property. They offerred us the time share presentation and we declined and never heard from them again about it. We'd return to this property. The food at the pool not the best, but the drinks are way cheaper then the nearby Hyatt!
“Would come again”
We had a great time, very kid friendly with daily activities to keep any age busy. My kids loved the walk-in pool surrounded by sand, as did the adults. They have absolutely gorgeous grounds, the tiered koi pond is awesome and the waterfall pond with tilapia fish at the bottom is very tranquil. Our room was located on the ground floor right in front of the waterfall pond, great place to enjoy breakfast, the waterfall drowns out any noise from the pool. And could see and hear the ocean from the bedrooms, living area and back porch (which has table, chairs and lounge). There's also a play ground for the kids and an adult only spa with a view of the ocean. They have gas BBQ all over the place that are cleaned every morning by a 2 man crew. Just can't say enough about this place. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful
