“Great dog hotel”

A good place to stay for the Illinois to Denver route. Big rooms, take dogs. Only complaint was the condition of the roll-a-way bed. I would stay there again.

“Only Two Regrets”

My only regrets were: 1) the Expedia info said that there were refrigerators and microwaves in every room. This wasn't the case. 2) The computer in the lobby blocked my email server.

“Very Spacious!”

For the first time in a long time, the Quality Inn at Kearney met my expectations and filled my needs, much more than other hotels I have been too. The room was very spacious, and I had a good night's sleep, too. Service was great, too.

“Ok but not great”

Overall facility was clean and in good shape. Pool was cold and matress sloped to the center. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Not Impressed”

Upon registering I found the staff to be unfriendly. When approaching the lobby for breakfast, two staff people behind the desk never looked up and said good morning. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Plumbing in sink and toilet were unacceptable when asked to have it fixed attempts were made but nothing could be done. Did offer to move us to another room.

“Won't be going back”

While it all looked good on paper and the location was great, the service was awful. The clerk on duty when I checked in acted as though he didn't want to be there and then, when his card machine was having problems, ended up charging the wrong card for my room (I extended my stay by a day as I was able to travel earlier than planned)! The rooms were muggy despite the air conditioning unit and the walls were extremely thin. The "heated" pool was cool and so murky you couldn't see a person if they went underwater. All in all...I won't be going back.
