The hotel was conveniently located near the cruise port, lots of stores near by and walkable to the night market. The room was clean, the bed was very firm. The breakfast selection was limited.

I like the location, very near the TRA station and not far from the night market. However I was unhappy because I was bitten by bed bugs and I feedback to the staff hut yet nothing seemed to be done to appease me.

Room is small. Amenities are fine. We are grateful for being able to check in early. But the bed was not well cleaned. Breakfast was fine. I like the disinfection station at the entrance.

Very near to Keelung station (about 5 mins walk). Luggages can be wheeled all the way from the train station. Many bus services pass by the front of the hotel as well. Near many food and shopping areas, many convenience stores around. Good view of Keelung Harbour.

Convenient location!
Excellent counter staff, excellent traditional Taiwan porridge breakfast. Rooms were clean and new. Great location and view of the harbour. Don't be bluffed by the humble exterior, this is a great find!

Clean, comfortable, central location.
Harbor View is a very nice hotel, right near the train station, and with views over the harbor and plaza at the center of the city. It is very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and efficiently run. Room was very clean, and bathroom very nice and roomy. (Western toilet) Workers at the desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite Asian, but with eggs and toast and some Western things in the plentiful mix for international guests. We had a lovely view of the harbor and sea birds. Recommend.

Hotel is close to shoppong ctr. Our room over looking the harbor. Room is very clean. The front desk were very nice. The only thing we dont like is our room smells bad due to cigarette smell.

Don't stay here
Pros: good location, close to train station, busses to Jiufen, night market and the harbour. Also, the lady working the front desk was great. Cons: dead bug on the carpet when we walked into the room, AC wasn't really working and the temperature was stuck at 25, the beds are as hard as a wooden plank, very uncomfortable. Also the man at the front desk almost gave us another guest's key (the hotel requires you to return and retrieve the room key everytime you leave/come back).

Should you have any require or any problem while you staying here please feel free to contact us to solved it then you can got better trip in Keelung mean while the AC can't change the temperature if you didn't turn it on or turn it to cold mode and most of guest don't understand how to do it which why we need you to contact us at the moment when you have problem. We are very glad to provide our service to every guest sincerely when we got the request.

A place that worth every penny you spent
Was there for a fishing trip , although did not spent much time in the hotel, the experience with the night duty staff was excellent, friendly, always smiling, concern for safety and ensured that i have a pleasant stay. Very helpful.

No privacy respected
The hotel front desk staff will track each guest who walk in. And will check CCTV that you are the hotel guest. Have no privacy. Any unexpected guest will need to top up additional charges including children. They will make sure u pay every single cent. Very bad experience

Good location, great view. Comfortable stay
The hotel is situated near to the Keelung night market, giving us easy access to great food. The view from our room overlooked the harbour, making it a pleasure to stare out of the window both in the day and at night. Loved the hotel and will come back.

the hotel is located very near to the train station and bus station. it is situated opposite the habour and very near to the night market.The minus side is that they gave me a room with no window, the staff claimed that the room with habour view were fully booked a month ago, however i booked my room three months ago. well, maybe there is a trade off if you book from the website. overall, the convenience is excellent.

Our Stay At Harbor View Hotel
The hotel was easily located when we alighted from our bus trip from Taipei Main Station. It was also located very close to the Keelung Main Railway Station, Bus Stations as well as the Tourist Information Centre. The Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful although both my wife and myself were not that eloquent in Mandarin. Despite of such constraints, with their assistance, we were able to make our way to almost all the places of interest in North East Taipei. The morning breakfast, though simple but were of quality and delicious. The room (twin sharing) was clean and cosy. It was indeed a memorable stay for both of us. Highly recommended for those who intend to stay in Keelung.

Bath tub was too small.. cant even put my leg straight. Bought the sea view package but was given a wall view instead. Front desk service was lousy... not those warm welcome and helpful ones. Breakfast was bad too. Everything could have been better.
