“Ideal place to recover from stress.”
A most pleasant weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and service oriented. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet. An ideal place if one wants to relax from a stressful life. Beautiful landscape and beach.
“Lovely hotel.”
Excellent hotel. We had a fabulous stay. Delicate and modern design. Beatiful rooms. The staff is wonderful, they take care of every detail. I would definitely go back to this hotel in the future.
“Koh Samui”
Beautiful hotel with exceedingly helpful staff. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious and the pool was wonderful. The only complaint I have is that you cannot swim in the beach next to the hotel because it's too shallow. Other than this is truly a wonderful place to stay.
“Would return in a heartbeat”
This is a beautiful resort right on the Gulf of Thailand. I highly recommend the villa as opposed to the deluxe rooms. If you get a villa, it's closer to the pool, the library (business center), the tapas bar and the restaurant. When we wanted to rent a car to drive around the island, the hotel was happy to make all of the arrangements for us. It was a lovely stay.
“Truly 1st Class Hotel”
For 10 days this hotel never lost the "wow" factor. A truly ideallic place to stay. All aspects of service were of a high standard, as was food in all of the restaurants. The only minor criticism was that the beach, although it looks perfect, is not great for swimming as the water is only about 2 feet deep for a long way out. We had a great holiday and would love to go back.

we stayed at the ko samui for 8 days yours was the first resort and we thought it was great very relaxing that was what we where after the breakfast was the best we had in the 8 days and beening able to go from pool to the sea for swim was good too
“Great Stay”
Overall had a great stay at Renaissance Koh Samui. Excellent friendly staff and the resort met all expectations. Our villa was very private with plunge pool. The main pool overlooking the beach was great. For the price, and if you prefer a nice quiet location, for couples or families I would recommend this resort.
“Excellent hotel”
Hotel grounds, architecture and facilities are top notch. Very comfortable, well designed with excellent service and extremely friendly staff. Good restaurants and menus as well. The only drawback was the shallow water, which extended out about 100 meters. Cannot swim in the sea here so if you are one who enjoys the sun and sea, this may disappoint you. There are very nice beaches within just a few minutes of the hotel so it wasn't a major problem but we certainly would have spent more time in the hotel had the beach been up to par. Other than that, the service was flawless and the staff so welcoming and nice that it certainly added to our relaxation and enjoyment.
