“3 day stopover in KL”
On the plus side this hotel is just 28 min from the airport and across the road from local rail which easily beats the congested roads in the city. The facilities are a high standard and provide an escape from the heat and humidity. Food was excellant. On the negative side this hotel is popular with business clients so somewhat pricey but bargains do exist such as Expedia and alternative Eats across the road in the railway station. It is also a 'hop on hop off' bus-stop but it can take too long to complete a circuit in peak times
“Impressed”
The pool, food and the bar were pretty good. Closed to Mid Valley Megamall and The Garden shopping centres. KL Sentral (train station) is right opposite the hotel. The drinks at the lobby bar is a bit over-priced.. but the live music was good.
“Great friendly service luxury hotel”
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly courteous staff. Check-in girl was extremely helpful and friendly, offering local advice and knowledge. Room was very clean & comfortable with loads of extras! Pool area is fantastic, despite some shade in the mornings... a real luxury oasis.. once again pool staff very friendly. Shared areas with the Hilton next door are great too.. particularly the gym, which is one of the best i've see at a hotel! Only downside would be the building of another skyscraper right next door, but it really doesn't affect the enjoyment at this truly 5* hotel. The over all feeling was one of being pampered in luxury. Highly recommended!
“superb hotel!”
Excellent facilities, arrived really early as had caught overnight train from Singapore - 6am and hotel allowed us to check in immediately = quite unusual. Located within train station so if you're not too bothered about getting tubes into town (which was really easy - about 5 mins into centre)it is fab! fantastic pool. The walk into town is an easy ten - fifteen minutes. staff really friendly, room lovely bright modern definately feels 5 star.
“Great stay in KL”
We had a nice experience at Le Meridien in Kuala Lumpur. The staff was very professional, accommodating and overall quite friendly. The rooms are what you expect from the starwood chain. They are clean, well designed and comfortable. The ammenities are great at this hotel! The pool area is lush and tranquil. The food is also outstanding in the pool area. We were delighted to find healthy options instead of strict bar food. We had gormet style salads, a nice bottle of red wine and had a blast swimming in the pool and resting in the hot tub. In addition, we had a stunning view of the city from this area as well as from our hotel room. The only drawback is that you cannot really walk anywhere from the hotel, as it is positioned in an area surrounded by highways. On the other hand, it is much less expensive than the hotels located directly in KLCC and a 5-8 minute cab ride away. From the center of town, you can walk everywhere. We walked from the Petronas towers to the Telecommunications tower and got plenty of exercise! I would recommend this hotel and absolutely stay there again!
“Excellent hotel and price”
The hotel is perfectly located across the street from where the KLIA Express will drop you off when coming in from the airport. It is a taxi ride to main attractions/shopping, however, if on a business trip this isn't a big deal. The hotel is absolutely wonderful with automated lighting, decent (not great) internet access, and a beautiful pool. The restaurants are also quite nice, so take some time to enjoy the facilities. The Hilton is an adjoining hotel, so they share facilities. Shop for the best price!
“Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur”
Very good Hotel to stay in if visiting Kuala Lumpur. right next to main station and mono rail so its very easy to get to places. Also when leaving you can check your baggage in at the train station rather than the air port !
“Fantastic Hotel”
Our part of 5 recently stayed at Le Meridien on the way home to Australia from Phuket. Everyone from the front desk to the pool staff were extremely helpful and freindly, nothing was too much trouble during our stay. The pool area was a great place to relax and have a few drinks and get something to eat. The rooms are comfortable and the hotels close location to the public transport and KLIA Express was ideal for us, I will stay here again.
“One of best hotel in KL”
Everything it ok
“Well worth the money”
Very well located next door to the Central Railway Station which also has many shops, information booths, taxi stands, easy access to the monorail, etc. Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur has excellent dining facilities and offers great views, especially of the KL botanic gardens. It is cheaper to stay at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur than at a comparable hotel in Singapore.
