“Fantastic concierge staff”
Very nice low rise hotel on the edge of the shopping district, away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk to plaza's and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and we found the concierge staff went out of their way to help us with info on tours, taxi's and where to eat and shop. The rooms and facilities were all clean and the breakfast that was included was excellent. The hotel is fairly new and not that well known yet, some of the taxi drivers were not sure how to get there so make sure you have the hotel address on you when you go out.
“A very special experience.”
We enjoyed our initial stay at the Royale Chulan Hotel so much that we returned there for two nights at the end of our trip. The surroundings were quiet, very pleasant with views of the twin towers from some accommodation. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and well serviced. Breakfast was one of the best we've experienced. All staff were welcoming, friendly and courteous. The swimming pool well positioned and in peaceful surroundings.
“Will definately return.”
Clean, comfortable, central and safe. Staff all very helpful. Bed was a dream to sleep in and bath a touch of luxury after days of heat and flip flops. Breakfast (buffet) rather wonderful, spoilt for choice (set us up for the day). Pool just right. Food and beverages rather expensive but it is a hotel. Easy to eat out around and about. Taxi fares won't break the bank either, but sky train just down the road. Would recommend this hotel for all. Excellent.
“A Luxury Hotel in KL”
This is a relatively new Hotel with a 5 star experience at very reasonable rates.A very nice room and a great location within easy walking distance of Malls and Petronas Towers.
“I would definitley stay here again.”
What a great surprise is this hotel. I was not expecting that ind of quality. The service at front desk was fantastic and they even upgraded me at no extra charge. Breakfast buffet is absolutely 5 star but evening meals not so good but acceptable. Rooms are excellent with all amenities including flat panel TV. I would definitley stay here again.
“Excellent Hotel”
Great Room, Excellent Service, Great Breakfast. Warisan Restaurant has great specials and great value happy hour at Heritage Bar. Recommended!
“Good Value”
For the price we paid, I can't complain. Excellent hotel and location. Good breakfast. Good value. Only thing that annoyed me was lack of digital clock or any clock in room :) Also Conceirage advised us of a trip to Genting Highlands, and specifically said price included Cable Ride, our main interest. When we go there, driver had many stops on his agenda that we were not interested in and a waste of time (such as mushroom and flower farms, chocolate place...) and to make it worse, Cable Ride was not working and has been in maintenance that whole month (conceirage should have known). We paid for it!
“Best hotel”
Can"t wait to go back
“Royale Chulan - a quiet corner in the city centre”
The Royale Chulan is a spacious 5-star hotel with very friendly staff. The food at the various restaurants is above average for 5-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur, both from the buffet and a la carte. The Malay restaurant, Bunga Emas, is superb and well worth the money. If you need to get out of the hotel, it is a very short walk to the Pavilion mall and to the Bukit Bintang area. It is also a short walk to the KLCC park.
“Pleasant surprise”
The Royale Chulan was the best hotel we used during a recent holiday to Malaysia/Singapore. Having researched it very well before booking we settled on this hotel based on other travellers comments and we weren't disapointed. Everything about the hotel from first impressions to the overall service we experienced was first class. Facilities including the pool area were very clean, well attended by staff and all were high quality. In the midst of what can be quite a haphazard city to get around in, this was an oasis of calm. Having travelled extensively on both business and pleasure to many countries and cultures, the breakfast buffet quality and choice was simply stunning, probably the best I have experienced. Very comfortable furnishings, highly trained service staff and a choice of food to suit any taste, all of which was fresh, well presented and outstanding to taste. I cannot recommend the Royale Chulan enough and should I ever return to KL for business or pleasure, this will be my/our first choice.
