“Good, but needs air-con....”
The Cuidad is a nice hotel, about a 10 minute walk from the beautiful old town. The rooms are large but rather warm in the summer due to the lack of air-con (there are windows that open but most rooms overlook a main road). A little attention to detail was required in my room as for example the safe didn't work, but overall it was comfortable and fine for a short stay.
“Good but not quiet.....”
Easy to drive to from Santiago Airport.Also parking was easy .Good place to either walk into the old town from or take a bus from outside the front door.But if you need to open the bedroom windows on a summer night(no air/con) then trafic is very noisey.
“Perfect for a cheap stop-over.”
We stayed here for one night while travelling to Vigo. The staff where very friendly and helpfull. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative was a lack of hot water in the evening. It is located 10 minutes walk to the station, and centre of the town.
“A good hotel!!”
It was a really nice hotel..just a little bit more far away than the city center than I was expected, but we could reach the center wolking for about 10 minutes. I would say that is a good choice were to stay in Santiago de Compostela.
“Disappointed in Santiago De Compo”
Hotel reasonably easy to find, located in a street full of car repair workshops. Parking was not easy with minimal spaces available in street. Reception polite, but room was disappointing, very 'unfresh' atmosphere to room, then we found that the TV didn't work, the in-room safe was locked and there was no bottle opener in the fridge! Not major problems but not what you should expect and very annoying. These problems were cheerfully resolved by the receptionist. Hotel is in easy walking distance of the town centre for a fit and healthy person, but the location is awful. Pleasant small cafe/bar on site.
