“Getting there!”

If you're working and just need a cheap room. This is the place. Recently renovated and still some growing pains. Our room only had luke warm hot water and we were quickly given another one.Will definitely go back!!!

Ok, nothing special but adequate for the price

“Spent a week there.”

The hotel was ok given the price but I think it might have been better to pay a little more to get a little more. The room wasn't dirty but it didnt smell pleasant, smelled a little like a goodwill store. The people at the desk were nice and the breakfast area was clean. The breakfast consisted of cereal and milk, coffee, pastries, oranges, and waffles. It wasn't exceptional but it was nice to have breakfast there to avoid going out. The room cleaners just replaced towels and didnt speak much english. To summarize, you get what you pay for and for the price this wasnt bad, if it wouldn't have had the bad smell I would have been quite happy.

“Business travel”

Easy to find. I've stayed here a few times in the past and find the location to be very convenient for my needs. That is annual recurrency training with my company in New Iberia but close enough to Lafayette to visit the places there after training.

“Got checked out too early”

Had hotel reserved for Fri night and Sat night. Something came up, after checking in on Friday and getting room key I ended up not staying in the hotel. Came back Sat night to find that I had been checked out of my room Sat morning by the front desk and they'd given the room to someone else (thankfully had not put anything in that room) Guy at front desk apologized and gave me another room for the night no charge. Location, appearance, etc. qualities of hotel were all great and price was nice. I suppose just make sure that you dont get checked out before you're supposed to

“You can find a better place”

Though there are worse places to stay, I certainly wouldn't recommend this one. The room was non smoking but smelled like smoke, there was a lot of noise from outside. Though there were many empty rooms, I was placed between two rooms that were noisy. The hotel is a good ways from other sites or attractions in the area. One plus is that there is free wireless internet, but that's about it. You can find much better places for the price.

“Needed help”

The AIr conditioner was very loud. The toilet ran. The phone never did work. At the breakfast bar the juice machine was broken so they never put out juice. They did clean the rooms good though.

“Not impressed”

I stayed at this hotel alone with my two young children. I did not feel completely safe there. Lots of people hanging outside the hotel in the parking lot drinking and lighting fireworks (it was right after the New Year.) I would say this is a good place to stay for men working in the area from out-of-town but definitely not a family hotel!
