“Hotel Du Lac, Bellagio”
Hotel Du Lac is conveniently located, provides great service and the morning routine of breakfast on the balconey is unmatched for its spectacular view of Lake Como and the Italian Alpes!
“Hotel Du Lac is the best!”
My friend and I stayed here for 7 nights. The hotel couldn't be in a better location - right beside the lake and opposite the pier to take the ferries. The hotel was very clean and all the staff made you very welcome - from chambermaids,waiters and staff at reception. The hotel has amazing views - a roof top garden with some loungers- and easy access to the sports club with pool and restaurants etc. It also boasts a tremendous restaurant downstairs which we ended up using a few times and never once had a bad meal. Breakfast was in the upstairs dining room - choices of cereal. fruit,ham,cheese,croissants,bacon and egg - easily something for everyone - and with a view of the lake, I can't think of a better way to start the day! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - for singles, couples or families.
“best location in Bellagio”
This family run hotel is in the ideal spot , right opposite the landing stage for ferries. Just sit and watch the world go by with a drink at a table in the lovely outside bar. Rooms are great . Ours was 60 on the 5th floor where there is also a sun terrace with views across the lake. The owners wife Jane is English and like her staff was friendly and helpful. It made our holiday.
“The only place to stay!”
Lake Come, the only place to stay is Bellagio and the Hotel Du Lac was fabulous. Very clean with friendly staff and just outside the main ferry terminals. Don't be fooled by the tourist looking menu, the food was amazing. 10% off for guests, happy hour for drinks 6-7pm, just in time for your arrival back from the other lovely locations on the lake. It is a must!
“Great Location, Great Service”
This hotel was a real winner. The hotel was in a perfect location- right along the waterfront, easy to find, and right across the street from one of the day boat services. The staff was incredibally accomidating and friendly. The rooms were basic, but very clean. And the dining and bar were fantasic. I would highly recommend this hotel
“Perfect location and great hotel!”
The hotel is perfectly located right on the water and in the middle of town. The 4th and 5th floors were recently renovated and the rooms are spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to our next trip back!
“Loved this place !”
I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. The location is great and you can walk everywhere with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes under the hotel and it is just across the road literally from the wharf where the ferry pulls in so no lugging bags around town. I would definitely go back again and make sure you go to the roof top to enjoy the view. The breakfast room is scenic also with a good full breakfast. Enjoy ! as we did.
“Hotel with a view”
Hotel du Lac is in a great location in the centre of Bellagio. The hotel organised a useful late evening transfer from the train station and when checking out helped plan the connecting journey to the airport.
“wonderful location”
bellagio is a brilliant location on lake como, and the Hotel Du Lac is perfectly located opposite the steamer landing stage. The hotel has very attentive and helpful staff and good breakfasts. we didn't have evening meals there as we prefer to go to local restaurants, which are abundant. On the downside, it is very crowded, and parking is difficult.
“Great Location!”
Our four night stay was wonderful. The rooms for a very old 3* Hotel were comfortable and very clean and had been updated. The Breakfast eating area overlooked beautiful Lake Como with the snow covered Alps in the background. Spectacular! The breakfast included was very good. The location is wonderful as it's right across the street from the boat station and convenient to everything in this small village. The staff also was very helpful and could speak great English. We had just come from a stay in a 5* hotel in Milan; however everything we desired was adequate in this hotel. We'd come back again and stay in the same place.
